Israel-Iran CONFRONTATION? Iranian "Aid" Ships On Way To GAZA

Taking advantage of the weak leadership of US President Barack Obama, Iran is getting involved with the flotillas toward Gaza.  According to Iranian state radio, the terror supporting nation has decided to stop working through intermediaries, it is sending its aid ships to Gaza, state radio said on Monday. A move that Tehran knows will lead to a confrontation with the Jewish State.

According to State Radio one ship left port on Sunday and another will depart by Friday, loaded with food, construction material and toys, the report said. "Until the end of (Israel's) Gaza blockade, Iran will continue to ship aid," said an official at Iran's Society for the Defense of the Palestinian Nation.

Press TV, the Official Iranian TV outlet reported
Iran's Red Crescent says two shipments of relief goods and relief workers will be sent to the besieged Gaza Strip by the end of the week.

"These relief goods include food, medication and medical equipments. The ships will be sent to Gaza by the end of this week," said Red Crescent Director for International Affairs Abdul Rauf Adibzadeh, quoted by IRNA on Sunday.

He added that the Red Crescent has called for Iranian volunteers to act as relief workers and accompany the vessels.

"Volunteers who want to go to Gaza and help the people of the occupied Palestine can register through the Red Crescent website," he said.

The Red Crescent society is also preparing another Gaza-bound ship with medical equipment and operating rooms for the impoverished people of the strip.
The good News is that Radio Free Europe is reporting that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard does not plan to escort the aid ships:
The deputy commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards says the elite corps has no plans to escort aid ships to Gaza.

General Hossein Salami said today reports that the guards naval forces were ready to accompany the ships were erroneous and that such a plan has not been on the agenda.

Iran plans to send two aid ships to the Gaza Strip via the Iranian Red Crescent
.
Terrorist states like Iran a great at sniffing out weakness. Make no mistake about it, the Iranians are pursuing this confrontation because they know that our weak leader, Barack Obama will not have Israel's back.
