A new peer-reviewed study by Professor Qing-Bin Lu of the University of Waterloo, proves carbon dioxide ( what comes out of our lungs every time we exhale) was not the cause of the global warming trend (which he says ended 11 years ago).
"the observed data show that CFCs conspiring with cosmic rays most likely caused both the Antarctic ozone hole and global warming. These findings are totally unexpected and striking, as I was focused on studying the mechanism for the formation of the ozone hole, rather than global warming."Those Global Warming Hoaxers are going to have a hard time chewing on this one, because according to the good doctor its chlorofluorocarbons (a gas made composed of carbon, fluorine, and chlorine) not CO2 which raised world-wide temperatures between 1950 and 2002. CFCs are already known to deplete ozone (remember when we had to stop using certain aerosol cans because they were putting a hole in the ozone layer?). Lu's analysis suggests that CFCs were also the key driver in global climate change, rather than carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
The total amount of CFC's ozone-depleting molecules decreased around 2000. Which is also when that hole in the Ozone layer started closing. Correspondingly, the global surface temperature have also dropped. On the other hand, the CO2 level has kept rising since 1850 and now is at its largest growth rate (which means some of you never held your breath-SHAME!)
"Conventional thinking says that the emission of human-made non-CFC gases such as carbon dioxide has mainly contributed to global warming. But we have observed data going back to the Industrial Revolution that convincingly shows that conventional understanding is wrong," said Qing-Bin Lu, a professor of physics and astronomy, biology and chemistry in Waterloo's Faculty of Science. "In fact, the data shows that CFCs conspiring with cosmic rays caused both the polar ozone hole and global warming."
"My calculations of CFC greenhouse effect show that there was global warming by about 0.6 °C from 1950 to 2002, but the earth has actually cooled since 2002. The cooling trend is set to continue for the next 50-70 years as the amount of CFCs in the atmosphere continues to decline,” Lu predicted .Sorry Mr. Former Vice President. But--hey you can always try to patent that internet you invented.
Lu's theory has been confirmed by ongoing observations of cosmic ray, CFC, ozone and stratospheric temperature data over several 11-year solar cycles. "CRE is the only theory that provides us with an excellent reproduction of 11-year cyclic variations of both polar ozone loss and stratospheric cooling," said Professor Lu. "After removing the natural cosmic-ray effect, my new paper shows a pronounced recovery by ~20% of the Antarctic ozone hole, consistent with the decline of CFCs in the polar stratosphere."Professor Lu was able to demonstrate a link between CFCs, ozone depletion and temperature changes in the Antarctic:
"The climate in the Antarctic stratosphere has been completely controlled by CFCs and cosmic rays, with no CO2 impact. The change in global surface temperature after the removal of the solar effect has shown zero correlation with CO2 but a nearly perfect linear correlation with CFCs -- a correlation coefficient as high as 0.97."Wow a correlation coefficient of .97 which by an amazing coincidence matches the doctored number (97% of Scientist believing in the global warming hoax) according to that phoney survey issued at the end of May.
Pretty soon the science will be settled....but not the way the hoaxers want. But in the meantime feel free to breathe in and out as much as you wish.

ReplyDeleteFour papers on line, that you may find of interest, provide some eye-opening insight on the cause of change to average global temperature. The papers are straight-forward calculations using readily available data up to May, 2013.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is 'Global warming made simple' at http://lowaltitudeclouds.blogspot.com/ . It shows, with simple thermal radiation calculations, how a tiny change in the amount of low altitude clouds could account for half of the average global temperature change in the 20th century, and what could have caused that tiny cloud change. (The other half of the temperature change is from net average natural ocean oscillation which is dominated by the PDO)
The second paper is 'Natural Climate change has been hiding in plain sight' at http://climatechange90.blogspot.com/2013/05/natural-climate-change-has-been.html . This paper presents a simple equation that calculates average global temperatures since they have been accurately measured world wide (about 1895) with an accuracy of 90%, irrespective of whether the influence of CO2 is included or not. The equation uses a proxy which is the time-integral of sunspot numbers. A graph is included which shows the calculated trajectory overlaid on measurements.
A third paper, ‘The End of Global Warming’ at http://endofgw.blogspot.com/ expands recent (since 1996) measurements and includes a graph showing the growing separation between the rising CO2 and not-rising average global temperature.
The fourth paper http://consensusmistakes.blogspot.com/ exposes some of the mistakes that have been made by the ‘Consensus’ and the IPCC
