Hillary Clinton May Have Just Gotten Congressional Approval For The Iran Deal

Hillary Clinton who promises despite her record she is a friend of Israel proved again that claim of friendship is nothing but a ruse to get votes.

Meeting with Congressional Democrats today Clinton said the deal was “important step” in putting the lid on that nation's nuclear program. While she supposedly didn't urge the members to vote for the deal, according to Bloomberg she gave a "full-throated endorsement."
“She said this was the same kind of arms agreement that other presidents have worked on, but much more important because of the tenor of the times, and what's going on in the region,” Representative Louise Slaughter said, predicting Democrats would have the votes to sustain a presidential veto if it came to that.
Representative Gerry Connolly of Virginia said Clinton had given the deal a “full-throated endorsement.” Facing the cameras, Clinton was measured, saying the agreement would have to be enforced “vigorously” and Iran’s “bad behavior” on human rights must be addressed.

The former secretary of state “said it's not perfect—no deal is perfect—but it's better than the alternatives,” Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York said.
She told House Democrats the deal was the fruit of work she began as secretary of state aimed at freezing and rolling back much of Iran's nuclear program, according to Connolly. “She thinks it's a very positive development,” he said.
Hard to understand how a deal which whose inspections regime is a paper tiger and allows Iran to continue R&D on centrifuges (Isotope production instead of uranium enrichment but its the same processes), and continue its violations, and funding of terrorism a "positive development."

On the other hand Hillary Clinton finally has a foreign policy victory, because her endorsement of the deal give Democratic Party members of the House cover to support Obama on this fraudulent deal. When you add the fact that many of these House Democrats are in safe gerrymandered districts it will be very diffident for Speaker Boehner to get the 2/3 majority needed to block the deal.  Nice work for a supposed "friend" of Israel.
