Mahmoud al-Zahar a senior Hamas figure lost his son today in an Israeli air strike. It was the second time Hamas' al-Zahar has lost a child in this manner. Losing a child is the ultimate horror for a parent, losing two must be overwhelming. The saddest part of the whole thing is while the munitions were fired by IAF pilots, it was Mahmoud al-Zahar who is responsible for the death of his children, as sure as his hand was on the trigger.
As a senior figure in Hamas' Mahmoud al-Zahar has been involved in planning strategy for terror attacks, homicide bombing, 2,500 rocket and mortar attacks targeting Israeli Civilians. As a big shot in the terror organization, he has been involved in using cartoon characters to teach the future generations to kill assuring that the culture of reckless murder will follow through to the next generation. For the second time in his life Hamas' Mahmoud al-Zahar is responsible for the death of his own child. He has sworn revenge, will he look into the mirror?
As a Hamas leader, al-Zahar has worked hard to create death across the Middle East and Israel. It was his creation that resulted in the death of his two sons.

I wrote about the same incident and came up with the similar conclusion that Mahmoud Zahar was the actual cause of his own son's death. Tragically he won't see it that way. Neither will his followers. To admit this to himself would be3 an admission that he has been on the wrong side this whole time. That is something that he won't do.
