Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. US ConstitutionHave you ever noticed that anytime someone wants to trash
But when ties to orate AGAINST tyranny. That's when the disingenuous dhimmis do their best imitation of an ostrich---burying their head deep in the sand. Every time someone writes something about creeping Sharia, or shines the spotlight on a terrorist supporter in the Muslim community they are accused of a hate crime.
Why aren't the ACLU types, getting up from the campfires putting away their guitars and running to speak out for free speech ? The answer is simple. These hypocrites only fight for free speech that they AGREE with. Its not their fault really, many of these dhimmis have a hyperactive Political Correctness gland preventing them from supporting a patriot's right of free expression.
You don't believe me? Take a look at what happened to Ezra Levant or what is happening to Mark Steyn, both victims of a Kangaroo court in Canada. How about the Evangelists that were threatened with arrest in Great Britain for passing out selections of the Gospel in a Muslim neighborhood.
Right now in the US, it is the press doing the Big Brother dirty work. Look at how Michelle Malkin was raked through the media coals for the Rachel Ray/Dunkin Donuts story, AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN BREAK THE STORY. That is except for Al-Jazzera, the Arab media, they are going after Pamela of Atlas, who broke the story.(I am jealous because I was only bashed by the NY Times).
Sixty-four years ago today almost one million heroes attacked a series of Beaches in Normandy France. Many of them paid the ultimate sacrifice, or were permanently injured or disabled. When we willingly allow those who will have our nation destroyed, work with the PC Police to take away our freedom of expression and speech we dishonor the Sacrifice of those heroes that we honor today.

Excellent post...If I'm not mistaken there's a hate crimes bill working its way through committee that would make it a crime to disparage gays, Muslims, etc...I "sh*t" you not.
The Mark Steyn situation is absolutely scary...I caught wind of that a few weeks ago.
