I guess the Sheikh heard about all the attention the original clip got, because now he has made a speech which basically said, "HEY MEMRI...I AM AN ANTI-SEMITE, what are you going to do about it. Transcript and video below:

I love your blog. However, I would make a friendly request, on behalf of us (solidly pro-Israel, Judaeophilic) Christians: please don't translate the Arabic "Isa" and "Maryam" as Jesus and Mary. I realize of course that no offense was meant, but the Quranic characters Isa and Maryam are not, and bear no resemblance to, Rabbi Yeshua ben-Yosef and mother. They are blasphemous fictions invented by that evil, evil fraud Mohammed, and are no more like the real (or at least the Christian) Jesus and Mary than 'Allah' is like YHVH.
