Two Confrontations and a Kick-Ass Mom-> The Final 2010 CPAC Meet the Bloggers

Its been a long but productive three days at CPAC and quite frankly I am still digesting all that I heard, read and everyone I met since I arrived here in the home of global warming Congressional hot air. Over the next few days I will be adding comments and writing up/posting seven more interviews. The Pictures below are the final round of "Meet the Bloggers"

Just a note about the Hotel, I just found it extremely weird that they were hosting 10,000+ Conservative Americans, yet almost all of the TVs in its expansive lobby level (there are many) are tuned to CNN. AND the front third of the gift shop is a display of Barack Obama merchandise.

Met and interviewed Lt. Colonel Alan West who is running for Congress in Florida's 22nd District. Not only does the Lt. Colonel have some good ideas on how to move this country forward, the way he looks one straight in the eye when he discusses it you can tell he is not just spewing campaign bull-dinky.  Look for my report in the interview sometime this week.

I also had a chance interview Dana Loesch. If there ever was a superwoman Dana is it. Besides homeschooling her kids, Dana hosts a radio show,The Dana Show, on KFTK 97.1 FM Talk. Her show is #1 in its market. She tea party activist, and editor of a blog about family called Mamalogues and a political issue oriented blog. Dana is co-host of PJTV's new Tea Party TV, which you will learn more about later this week when  I can sit with the digital recorder and write up the the interview. Until then, make sure to follow Dana's sites, radio and TV shows because this kick-ass mom is already huge and going to get much bigger.

Blogger of the Year, Ed Morrissey of Hot Air along with his version of Point/Counter point Tommy Christopher(liberal) and his buddy Caleb Howe (conservative). Tommy and Caleb have created the website twits.ws together.  At the same time Tommy is a columnist for Mediaite, and Caleb writes for Red State. Each of the pair made some news of their own yesterday as Tommy had an on-air confrontation with Andrew Breitbart which you can see here. Caleb saved Glenn Beck from harassment from a pair of Code Pinkers, which you can watch here.

Two more Blogging Superstars Juliette AKA Baldilocks. Juliette I am going to drive home now so can you watch Ed's stuff? Juliette is standing with John Hawkins whose Right Wing News is only one of a stable of very successful blogs.

 Folks that's it for now, CPAC was worth every second but to be honest, I am anxious to go home to see my family. More about CPAC over the next few days.
