Human Rodent Pat Buchanan Complains Supreme Court Has Too Many Jews

It was William F Buckley Jr who confirmed that Buchanan hated Jews.  In Search of Anti-Semitism" December 31, 1991, subsequently made the cornerstone of a book, William F. Buckley, Jr. concluded, that Buchanan was indeed an anti-Semite:
I find it impossible to defend Pat Buchanan against the charge that what he did and said during the period under examination amounted to anti-Semitism, whatever it was that drove him to say and do it: most probably, an iconoclastic temperament.
Today he once again, displayed his putrid venom by objecting to the Nomination of Elena Kagen, not because of her liberal philosophy, or the fact that her college thesis was a positive look at socialism. No, Buchanan's objection was:
If Kagan is confirmed, Jews, who represent less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, will have 33 percent of the Supreme Court seats.
Probably the most harmless thing Buchanan has done is perpetuate the Myth that the Jews controls foreign policy.
In Buchanan's essay "Whose War" he blames the Iraq war on a bunch of mostly Jewish public figures such as Bill Kristol, Paul Wolfowitz, Max Boot, and Richard Perle. Buchanan charges those public figures with "colluding with Israel to ignite wars and destroy the Oslo Accords. We charge them with deliberately damaging U.S. relations with every state in the Arab world that defies Israel or supports the Palestinian people's right to a homeland of their own." He goes on to say, "For whose benefit these endless wars in a region that holds nothing vital to America save oil, which the Arabs must sell us to survive? Who would benefit from a war of civilizations between the West and Islam? Answer: one nation, one leader, one party. Israel, Sharon, Likud." ( The American Conservative Whose War?, A neoconservative clique seeks to ensnare our country in a series of wars that are not in America’s interest. by Patrick J. Buchanan, March 24, 2003 issue)
Buchanan is also a holocaust denier, he  challenged the historical record that thousands of Jews were gassed to death by diesel exhaust at Treblinka:
"Diesel engines do not emit enough carbon monoxide to kill anybody." -New Republic, 10/22/90
Of course none of this is enough to get this hater silenced, he is still given air time by MSNBC, and allowed to write for sites such as Newsmax, Human Events, and World Net Daily. Today, once again the human rodent spewed his his anti Semitic hatred:
....Not since Thurgood Marshall, 43 years ago, has a Democratic president chosen an African-American. The lone sitting black justice is Clarence Thomas, nominated by George H. W. Bush. And Thomas was made to run a gauntlet by Senate liberals.
Indeed, of the last seven justices nominated by Democrats JFK, LBJ, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, one was black, Marshall; one was Puerto Rican, Sonia Sotomayor. The other five were Jews: Arthur Goldberg, Abe Fortas, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan.

If Kagan is confirmed, Jews, who represent less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, will have 33 percent of the Supreme Court seats.

Is this the Democrats' idea of diversity?
But while leaders in the black community may be upset, the folks who look more like the real targets of liberal bias are white Protestants and Catholics, who still constitute well over half of the U.S. population.

Not in living memory has a Democratic president nominated an Irish, Italian or Polish Catholic, though these ethnic communities once gave the party its greatest victories in the cities and states of the North.
This is the usual Buchanan m.o. And for those of you that think Buchanan was just arguing for diversity on the Supreme Court, let me remind you that he said the same exact thing about the US Senate three years ago
"If you want to know ethnicity and power in the United States Senate, 13 members of the Senate are Jewish folks who are from 2 percent of the population. That is where real power is at.." ("The McLaughlin Group," Feb. 2, 2007).
If Buchanan was attacking any other group he would have been fired long ago, yet he is allowed to continue spewing his hatred by MSNBC, Newsmax, Human Events, and World Net Daily and invited to appear as a guest on programs such as Sean Hannity. Shame on them all for allowing this hater to have a soapbox.

Pat Buchanan has been such a disappointment since 90's. After his painful speech at the '92 GOP convention, we haven't wasted our time on any more of his opinions. He showed his true colors back then. Buchanan's almost as anti-semitic as Jimmy Carter. Yikes.

Jews as conservatives, not a good fit. It really does make me wonder why. It's like you have to be saved from yourselves. Does God really tell you this is the way to go? I think not. Return to your roots. The ACLU is calling.

At a slight angle to this posting;

As an English Jew, my experience is that, no matter how I see myself, how I express my views, anything; non-Jews always see me as a Jew first.

This has been a struggle at first to come to terms with as a secular Jew in my early life, but now I totally love it and embrace my Jewishness!

The fact is for all Elena Kagan, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Lord Woolf, Gerald Kaufman, George Soros and all the others, promote their socialism/communism/nazism, people will always see them as Jews first.

And sometimes I wonder if they are - willingly- used(?)so that if the crunch comes, they can be blamed by all sides for the disasters that befall their countries.

Because muslims and marxists both practise taqqiya, I feel that when the crunch comes, these treacherous Jews will get their comeuppance and find that being pro-muslim is no defence against being Jewish. That muslims only regard them as useful idiots, who will go the same way they would like the rest of the Jews to go.

They are already in the jackal's den.

It's a mystery why Human Events keeps Buchanan on the rolls. The other leading lights, such as Newt Gingrich and Ann Coulter, are solidly pro-Israel and I doubt have an anti-Semitic bone in their bodies.

I used to defend Buchanan, but his continuing hatred of the dread pirate neocons makes this defense impossible. Now I just wish he'd retire from the public square.

As for Protestants on the Supreme Court, this Protestant does not care. Doing the ethnic bean-counting is a liberal's game; I'll not play it. I'd be happiest with more justices like John Roberts and Antonin Scalia: strict constructionists with sharp minds. That they are Catholic is besides the point.

As for Kagan, she is Jewish only by ethnicity. Given her radical views on homosexuality and abortion, she is clearly a secular Jew whose religion is liberal politics.

Some of us liked his 1992 speech. Seriously, go read it.
Pat is both right and deadly wrong here. His point that the left is anti-WASP is quite true. The Democrats have since the 1880s been a collection of those with grievances against the majority. The preacher, who cost Republican James Blaine (himself half-Catholic with a nun for a sister) the election in 1884 with the line that the Democrats were the party of Rum (urban poor, many of whom were alcoholics), Romanism (a derisive term for Catholics) and Rebellion (Southerners), was quite correct if impolitic. The FDR coalition of Southerners, white ethnics (Catholics and Jews), labor, and Northern Blacks was an extension of this. And it has re-invented itself with every generation. The only difference today is that the Scotch Irish (ironically the first group reached out to in this manner) are now lumped in with WASPs.
A majority of Americans are Protestants and it is wrong that no member of the founding population of the US is on the court. Of course, while Jews certainly are over-represented, but 2/3 of this court is now Catholic. I don't see the German-Irish Catholic Buchanan complaining about this now or back when President Bush nominated Alito. Buchanan reaffirms himself as a antisemitic hypocrite. But don't think that the issue of the US Supreme Court being Protestant-less is irrelevant.
Kagan is a communist and Obama would like nothing more than useful idiots to make this a Jewish issue so that the man protecting Iran's nuclear program from Israel can scream "antisemitism".
