Steny Hoyer Gets Visit From Stupid Fairy Says Bush Tax Cuts are Republican Tax Hikes

If you were in Washington DC earlier in the week, you would have seen an extra twinkling object in the night sky over the Capitol building. That twinkle was just the Fairy of Stupidity spreading his stupid dust over the office of House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer. And the fairy dust is working very well on the Senator, maybe too well, because Hoyer believes that the American people are stupid enough to believe his comments.

Yesterday Hoyer made some outrageous claims about the Bush Tax cuts. He said the expiration of the Tax Cuts was a "Republican Tax Increase" on “working Americans” and the Democrats have “no intention” of allowing it to go into effect.

No this is not a satire.

“We have no intention of allowing the Republican tax increase — that their policies would lead to — to go into effect for working Americans. Period,” he said. “We’re going to act and make sure that the Republican phase out and increase in taxes does not end as they provided for in the laws they passed.”

Hoyer also said at the press conference, “If we left the Republican policies in place, their  taxes would be increased next year. We’re not going to let that happen.”

OK Steny maybe after the fairy dust wears off you will remember that the Republicans have been screaming for the renewal of the Bush tax cuts. Maybe you will also remember how the Obamacare bill increased taxes on the middle class. Probably not when it comes to Steny Hoyer, facts are inconvenient things.
