HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius: Americans Are Too Stupid to Understand Obamacare

Incredibly the Obama Administration still doesn't get it. They still don't understand that America hates Obamacare. In an interview yesterday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told ABC News that the sustained opposition to the Democrats’ health care reform efforts has mainly been a function of “misinformation.”
“Unfortunately there still is a great deal of confusion about what is in [the reform law] and what isn’t,” Sebelius told ABC News Radio on Monday.

With several vulnerable House Democrats now touting their votes against the bill, and Republicans running on repeal of the law, Sebelius said “misinformation given on a 24/7 basis” has led to the enduring opposition nearly six months after the lengthy debate ended in Congress.

“We have a lot of reeducation to do,” Sebelius said.
After two years of the President traveling the country and telling people about his plan, countless speeches by the other progressive leaders and a progressive media shilling for Obamacare, their stance is, "well if America doesn't like the plan, they are just too stupid to understand it."

Yesterday the Kaiser Family Foundation a left leaning organization, and probably the only poll that had shown support for the Obamcare released some more bad news for Obamacare:

Americans are about evenly divided on health reform this month, with 43 percent holding
favorable views of the new law and 45 percent unfavorable views. This represents a 7 percentage point drop in support from July, and a 10 percentage point uptick in
opposition,
Meanwhile, the proportion who think the country as a whole will be better off with health reform moved in the same direction, dropping to 39 percent, roughly the same proportion who think the country will be worse off (37 percent). And the share of Americans who report feeling “disappointed” in health reform now stands at 51 percent, up from 42 percent last month.
The typical progressive point of view is that they know better than the American people so if they don't like Obamacare, it must be because they are not bright enough. The truth is much to their chagrin, the people are very smart and have read up on the implications of the bill for example, the  fact that the Chief Actuary of Medicare reports that many of the promises made about the bill are just not true.

In the end, the undoing of the Progressive hold on the US government will be their underestimation of the American people.
