Lisa Murkowski Runs Endorsement From Ted Stevens (Yes the DEAD Ted Stevens)

What is it with Senators who are trying to hang on too long, last week Harry Reid named two dead people as his greatest living Americans, today Lisa Murkowski begins running a commercial starring Ted Stevens, the former Alaska Senator who died in a plane crash weeks before Murkowski lost the GOP nomination in the party's primary. After losing in the primary, Murkowski decided to running as a write-in candidate, against primary winner Joe Miller, who has the backing of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and Democrat Scott McAdams.

The ad begins with Sue Covich (Stevens' daughter) pointing out the timing of her father’s endorsement.
"What some Alaskans don't know is that my father made a campaign commercial for Lisa that was scheduled to run just days after we lost him," Covich said.
She followed up by saying that Murkowski didn't run the commercial out of respect for the late Senator.  What she didn't point out was that the commercial was made Murkowsky was running for the nomination. It is doubtful that Stevens, an iconic leader of the Alaskan Republican Party would have made a TV spot for a write-in effort against a fairly nominated GOP candidate.
We need Lisa and the seniority she’s earned now more than ever," Stevens said

This latest commercial by Murkowski is as wrong as it its exploitative, during his 40 years in the Senate, Stevens became a leader in the Senate as well as in Alaska. A man such as that would have been horrified by Murkowski's write-in run.  He may not have supported Miller, but he certainly would not have endorsed someone who had turned against her own party.

Shame on HER ! She promises the "R" party that if she looses the race against Joe Miller that she will accept that and support him. There is no way Ted Stevens would have supported her "Back-door" approach to this election. She is splitting the "R" vote placing that seat in WA in danger of switching to a D representative. Not to mention the disrespect she is showing for Ted Steven's and his family.

I don't want her representing Alaska or me in WA, she is not to be trusted, she changes her views and stories with the wind. Lisa Murkowski is not to be trusted, if she's willing to use a dead man's ad, change her word voting with the "D" party over the past two years, and now placing the "R" parting in trouble by splitting the vote we need to hold that seat in WA.

Lisa needs to pull out of the race, she is attempting to BUY.

I should also point out that she will lose her seniority if she wins. I have seen rumors that she is negotiating with the Democrats to join their caucus if she wins (like Senator Lieberman).
