When Bad Jews go worse

You see them all the time; you know the Jewish group that believes that Israel shouldn't be around because the Moshiach hasn't come yet? They are at the Salute to Israel parade in NY every year giving aid and comfort to terrorists. They were at Arafat's bedside when he was dying from Aids, Praying for Him To Recover. This summer when hundreds of Jews were rallying trying to give comfort to Gilad Shalit's family they were there, this is how I reported it then.
Across the street there were 5 Chassid Look alikes with signs saying that The Talmud says there cant be an Israel. (they aren't hassidim. The chassidic communities in Monsey, Monroe, Boro Park and Williamsburg have repeatedly condemned them. They dress in the old Yerushalmi style, but they are not Chassids) So I went over to them to tell them this wasn’t an Israel rally it was to show support for the family of a kidnapped boy, that THEY should read their Talmud better because they were trying to put a stumbling block in front of us comforting Gilad’s family and praying for his release.
Now they are in Iran, at the conference that is trying to say that the Shoah never happened. My friend Chaim from Freedom's Cost will not let it stand. After agonizing about it for a few days. He has put "pen to paper" and has written an honest, gut wrenching rebuke to those men in black who are supporting the Iranians. It is a powerful piece; I am surre that his brother, Yitzchok ben Yaakov of blessed memory, who was lost in the Shoah as a child, is very proud. Please read it below:

Standing in the Gates of Infamy
It is hard for me to write today, I’ve been debating with myself if I should even bring this up. My good friend Sammy, from Yid With Lid, has been encouraging me to broach the subject… With mixed emotions, tearing at my innards, I still feel I have to… so… here it goes folks, forgive me my feelings.

It all started with this REUTERS report:

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran opened a conference on Monday to examine the Holocaust and question whether Nazi Germany used gas chambers to kill Jews, drawing condemnation in the West and criticism from Iran’s Jewish community.Jewish rabbis were present at the government-sponsored event “Review of the Holocaust: Global Vision” alongside academics from Europe, where some countries have made it a crime to deny the Nazi killing of 6 million Jews from 1933 to 1945.

“The aim of this conference is not to deny or confirm the Holocaust,” Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said in a welcome address. “Its main aim is to create an opportunity for thinkers who cannot express their views freely in Europe about the Holocaust.”

The event, which Iran has said will question whether gas chambers were actually used against the Jews, has drawn widespread criticism from Holocaust survivors, Jewish organizations, human rights groups and Western governments.

Sessions at the two-day conference, held at the Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies, were to include “Holocaust: Aftermath and Exploitation” and “Demography: Denial or Confirmation?”

The conference was inspired by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who since coming to power in August 2005 has sparked international condemnation with comments referring to the Holocaust as a “myth” and calling Israel a “tumor”.

Among the participants was U.S. academic David Duke, a former Louisiana Republican Representative. He praised Iran for hosting the event.“There must be freedom of speech, it is scandalous that the Holocaust cannot be discussed freely,” Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader told Reuters. “It makes people turn a blind eye to Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people.”

French writer Georges Thiel, who has been convicted in France for spreading revisionist theories about the mass extermination of Jews, said the Holocaust was “an enormous lie.” “Jewish people have been persecuted, that is true, they have been deported, that is true, but there was no machinery of murder in any camp — no gas chambers,” he said.

Participants included about half a dozen Jews from Europe and the United States clad in long black coats and black hats, some wearing badges depicting the Israeli flag crossed out. One wore a badge saying: “A Jew, not a Zionist”.

Iranian top cleric Ali Akbar Mohtashamipour, center, speaks, as Rabbi Moishe Arye Friedman, left, from Austria, and Rabbi Ahron Cohen from England, sit, in a conference on the Holocaust, in Tehran, Iran, Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 (AP photo)

“We came here to put the Orthodox Jewish viewpoint,” said British Rabbi Ahron Cohen. “We certainly say there was a Holocaust … But in no way can it be used as a justification for perpetrating unjust acts against the Palestinians.”

The conference has upset Iran’s 25,000-strong Jewish community, said Moris Motamed, the sole Jewish representative in Iran’s parliament.“Denying it (the Holocaust) is a huge insult,” he told Reuters. “By holding this conference, they (the government) are continuing to insult the Jewish community.”
Many ordinary Iranians admitted to embarrassment about the event, which follows Iran’s decision to hold a competition for cartoons about the Holocaust in October.

A former senior government official, who declined to be named, said that hosting the conference was unwise given diplomatic pressure on Iran over its nuclear program.
“Such conferences should not be held,” he said.

So, the whole world knows about the Holocaust, why would I care about some crackpots who found a forum under the auspices of that Iranian descendant of pigs and apes, that putrid little maggot, Mahmoud Ahmedinajad? Frankly, I wouldn’t have wasted a thought on the whole conference were it not for the following lines: Participants included about half a dozen Jews from Europe and the United States clad in long black coats and black hats, some wearing badges depicting the Israeli flag crossed out. One wore a badge saying: “A Jew, not a Zionist”.”We came here to put the Orthodox Jewish viewpoint,” said British Rabbi Ahron Cohen. “We certainly say there was a Holocaust … But in no way can it be used as a justification for perpetrating unjust acts against the Palestinians.”

The Jewish Sages tell us ”Kol Yisrael achim, areivim zeh lazeh - All Jews are brothers, responsible for one another,” frankly, I doubt I share any common bloodlines with the likes of these six individuals. Since their actions show they clearly feel no responsibility for the lives of any other Jews, I hereby declare that neither I nor anyone who is a true oheiv Yisrael - lover of Jews also bear no responsibility for these creeps. I too am a devout and like them, long bearded, Orthodox Jew and I am enfuriated and hurt that they chose to describe themselves as Orthodox Jews, or that they claim to represent the Orthodox Jewish viewpoint.

During WWII my parents lost a little three year old boy, the brother I never got to meet… He was murdered by the Nazis, Yimach Shmam - May their names be obliterated. Even if these so called “Rabbis” do not themselves deny the Holocaust, their very presence at such a venue (one that drew condemnation throughout the world, and shame within Iran itself) only legitimizes the debate on whether any Jews were systematically killed, whether they were singled out merely for being Jewish… shame, shame on these six members of the Neturey Karta group! Because of you, Israel’s enemies can find solace! Because of you those who did in the past and those who are at this very moment plotting to kill Jews, feel emboldened!

Israel is perpetrating unjust acts against the Palestinians, you say? Was it unjust and unfair for innocent Jews (men, women and children) from all walks of life and every age group to ride in buses as suicidal murderers blew them up? Was it unjust and unfair for innocent Jews to shop at the Machane Yehuda market in Jerusalem for their Shabbat needs as suicidal murderers blew them up? Was it unjust and unfair for Jews to quietly enjoy a pizza in Jerusalem, attend a hotel seder in Natanya, or have a cup of coffe and a piece of cake in some Tel Aviv, Haifa, or Jerusalem coffehouses, as suicidal murderers blew them up? I dare you to answer!!!

Moishe Aryeh Friedman from the UK, Aharon Cohen from Austria, Yisroel Dovid Weiss from the US and the others whose names I couldn’t find, when the six of you get to stand in front of the Bet Din shel Ma’alah - The Tribunal from on High, six million Jews will testify against your infamy and I can only pray that the Holy Judges from on High condemn your souls to rot together with Adolf Hitler and Yasser Arafat (no, the world hasn’t forgotten how fervently you said Tehillim and prayed for that murderer of Jews not to die!). Only then will the blood of my little brother, Yitzchok ben Yaakov alav hashalom - may he rest in peace, be stilled!!!

Chaim

You see them all the time; you know the Jewish group that believes that Israel shouldn't be around because the Moshiach hasn't come yet?

I don't know if this is a proper comparison, but I remember reading when Moses sent the 12 spies into the promise land. The spies came back with the fruit of the land.
Joshua and Caleb were so excited about it, they were ready to go in.
The other 10 spies....not so much.

Do they realize what the clerics say in their mosques concerning Jews?
