Good News for Israel in the upcome "peace a troi" in Yerushalayim on the 19th. Fresh off her Colts win at the Super Bowl, Condi feels empowered to Dragging the Spineless Olmert and the Terrorist Abbas to the table. Based the initial talks reports, it looks as if they will be talking at one another rather than talking with one another.

Very surprisingly (and very welcome) Olmert does not intend to be a geek bearing gifts, he is planning to press Abbas to get his new Unified Terrorist Government to meet the requirements of Recognition, dismantling terrorist networks, and honoring previous agreements before any serious discussions occur. Olmert also intends to tell the Holocaust denier Abbas , since he is now the Great Grand Pubah of Palestinian Terrorism it is in his control to release Cpl. Shalat and Olmert expects him to do just that--and fast!
Then there is Condy Rice, who seems to change faster than my underwear. Right now the word is that her message is similar to Olmert's According the the Jpost. Rice will land in Jerusalem on Saturday, and will spend Shabbos and Sunday holding separate talks with Olmert and Abbas prior to the "peace a troi" (or is it "menage a peace ?"). Right now it looks like secretary of state will voice her displeasure with the Terrorist unity agreement signed at Mecca and may even Abbas that this will be the last, for a long time, depending on how the new PA unity government is formed and whether it meets the necessary conditions.
This would certainly disappointed Russia and the EU who have set up a row of satellites over Israel's coastline so they could broadcast and celebrate the terrorists pushing the Jews into the sea. I understand Chirac has even hired a new mistress for the celebration.

Don't count on Olmert coming out swinging. He talks tough now but, as in the past, as soon as Condi Ric-e-rrony either smiles at him or gives him a stern look he will immediately turn into a butterball and do her bidding.
In fact, just to ingratiate himself to her and the Europeans, watch as he bends over backwards to give more than they demand. That's why the PA negotiators can be so tough, they know the Israelis will relent.
