IMUS Accuser Al Sharpton is the ULTIMATE Hypocrite

Let me start by saying what Imus said about the Rutgers basketball team is disgusting. In fact they were just as disgusting as these comments:

Imus called the book publishers Simon & Schuster “thieving Jews” (Imus in the Morning, 12/15/04), returning to the subject later in the program to offer a mock apology, saying that the phrase he used was “redundant.”

In 1998, for instance, Imus called Washington Post media writer Howard Kurtz “that boner-nosed . . . beanie-wearing little Jew boy” (Newsday, 10/19/98).

IMUS' Show has featured other Anti-Semitic Comments, as had other WFAN commentators such as Mike Francessa who blamed 9/11 on Israel and his partner Chris Russo who suggested that American Jews take a loyalty oath. Funny how you never saw Sharpton or the press make a big deal out of those comments.

IMUS' comments were awful, but Sharpton never gets challenged for inciting progroms against Jews in Crown Heights or Harlem.

The Crown Heights pogrom occurred after a car accident involving the motorcade for the Lubavitcher Rebbe killed a young boy Gavin Cato. A riot was sparked after a private Hasidic ambulance came to the scene and, on the orders of a police officer, removed the Hasidic driver from the scene. Gavin Cato and his cousin Angela were picked up soon after by a city ambulance. Caribbean-American and African-American residents of the neighborhood then rioted for four consecutive days fueled by rumors driven by Sharpton that the private ambulance had refused to treat Cato. Al Sharpton became the de-facto representative for the Cato family. During the funeral he referred to "diamond merchants" considered a code word for Hasidic Jews for shedding "the blood of innocent babies" leading marchers shouting "No Justice No Peace". Sharpton did not start the riots but his rhetoric poured gas on the fire. And while the Mayor of NY refused to do anything to help, A visiting rabbinical student from Australia by the name of Yankel Rosenbaum, 29 years old, was killed during the rioting by a mob shouting "Kill the Jew".

Anyone remember Freddie's Fashion Mart ? Sharpton decided that Harlem should be segregated and decided that the Jewish owned store should close even though its been there for decades. At one of the many rallies meant to scare the Jewish owner away, Sharpton charged that “there is a systemic and methodical strategy to eliminate our people from doing business off 125th Street. I want to make it clear . . . that we will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.” Sharpton’s colleague, Morris Powell, said of the Jewish owner — Sharpton’s “white interloper” — “We’re going to see that this cracker suffers. Reverend Sharpton is on it.” Three months later, one of the protesters, Roland Smith, stormed Freddy’s with a pistol, screaming, “It’s on now: All blacks out!” In addition to shooting, he burned the place down. Eight people died. Sharpton first lied about being present. When confronted with a video tape showing his presence, he said: "What's wrong with denouncing white interlopers?"

SO LET ME ASK JUST WHO IN THE HELL IS SHARPTON, THIS RACIST ANTI- SEMITE, TO DEMAND THAT ANYONE BE FIRED? MAYBE HE SHOULD GET OFF HIS HIGH HORSE AND TAKE SOME SENSITIVITY TRAINING HIMSELF.

This is the man who made up the Tawana Brawley story and ruined Stephen Pagones' life. A Reverend? What ever happened to Love Thy Neighbor ? Ever hear of Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness? SHARPTON You are NO REVEREND, YOU ARE A BIGOTED HYPOCRITE!!!

Imus is a bigoted pig but he has been one for 30 years --it comes from being sophomoric, he even used to be funny. His biggest crime happened a long time ago when his program jumped the shark and stopped being funny. If we are being intellectually honest, his Number one accuser the wrong "Reverend" Al Sharpton is a bigger Pig, his bigotry doesn't even come from hatred--it comes from trying to promote his number Product--Al Sharpton "King of the African Americans" Of whom it was reported in the press, even tried to damn one of his own, Senator Obama, because the Sen. didn't ask for permission before announcing his run. "Reverend" Al is simply a street Bully and it high time that the press treats him like one.

Update: MSNBC announced tonight that they will no longer simulcast the IMUS in the morning radio show. What IMUS said about the woman on the Rutgers basketball team was thoroughly disgusting. Although I believe that IMUS is honestly contrite and should not have been fired by the network --- but now that they have done the deed they should finish the job. The Network's chief political correspondent, Pat Buchanan is an ever bigot then IMUS, why doesn't MSNBC fire him too?
