I stopped counting..but the number of rockets fired into Israel during the last week hast to be approaching 200. Rocket attacks on Jews does not make for news headlines..but apparently Israeli retaliation does. Three women were wounded Monday evening, including one seriously and one moderately, when a Qassam rocket hit their car in the western Negev town ofSderot. The third woman was lightly hurt in the attack, and all three were evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
Their car was hit as they were parking near a bakery in the town. Militants have fired scores of Qassams into Sderot and the western Negev in recent days, with four rockets hitting the area on Monday. Some 15 rockets hit the Sderot area on Sunday.Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces on Monday called up 35 reserve medics on emergency orders to serve in Sderot, Ashkelon, and other parts of the western Negev, Army Radio reported.
