US is being Hypocritical about Israeli Hamas arrests!

Imagine this, two countries are fighting Palestinian Terrorists. One has circled the community the terrorists are hiding out in. They are saying that if the terrorists do not leave the surrounding army is going in full guns blazing. The terrorists have been told surrender or Die. The United States Is rushing arms to this country so it can fulfill their mission.

For five days, Lebanese tanks and artillery have been pounding Fatah al-Islam gunmen barricaded in the Palestinian Nahr al-Bared refugee camp without achieving a breakthrough. The fighting has escalated dangerously following the infiltration of pro-Syrian reinforcements to the camp.The Bush administration decided to rearm the Lebanese troops with better weapons because if they fail to suppress the Islamist uprising in the northern camp, the unrest will spread.Debka

Country two has suffered some two hundred missiles directed at some of its civilian cities over the last two weeks. It started bombing the offices of the terrorist and have made targeted strikes against some of the most vicious of the terrorists. To ramp things up, they have tried a non-violent method of retaliating. Country two decided to arrest 33 terrorist leaders. Is the US sending arms to this country?

"The detention of elected members of the Palestinian government and legislature does raise particular concerns for us," State Department spokesman Tom Casey said.

So is the US saying that Israel should surround Gaza and announce to Hamas "surrender or die?" Or is the State Department being a bit Hypocritical?
