Negev Qassam Attacks a Civil War Manipulation -Hamas Political Wing

Dr Moussa Abu Marzouq deputy chairman of the Hamas Political Wing (what the US State Department calls the good Hamas) knows an awful lot about the dealings of the Military Wing (the BAD Hamas). In an interview with the Hamas controlled daily Felesteen (not to be confused with my lawyer, Feldstein) Moussa Abu Marzouq bragged to reporters that Hamas launched rocket attacks against Israel to try to delay the internal war between the terrorists.
They are flesh of our flesh, and we want to break that equation in any way possible. Hamas has turned its rockets on the Zionist enemy to get out of this predicament, in which we found ourselves against our will. The campaign against the Zionist enemy pulled us out of the predicament that was pushing us into a corner.
Nice Talk! According to the Condy Rice these are the peace-loving good guys! Now I am no foreign policy expert but that doesn't sound like the "political wing" is any different than the "military wing" does it?

Increased terrorism against Israel as a solution to internal Palestinian strife: Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouq, Deputy Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, candidly admitted that Hamas had launched a rocket attack on Israel to put an end to the violent clashes with Fatah.(Source Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center at the Israel Intelligence Heritage & Commemoration Center (IICC)

1. Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouq, Deputy Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, has recently granted an interview to Felesteen, a recently-launched Hamas daily. The interview, titled “A Great Opportunity to Establish a State in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank”, deals primarily with the latest developments on the internal Palestinian scene and with the rocket attacks on Israel .

2. In an interview granted to Muhammad Yassin in Damascus , Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouq justified the struggle waged by the Hamas movement against Fatah, claiming it to be a group that broke off from Fatah and the security apparatuses, which works against the legitimate Palestinian government. Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouq claimed that Hamas was making efforts to pull itself out of the cycle of internal fighting, saying:

“Even though this group [of Fatah members] follows a foreign agenda [i.e., dictated by the US and Israel] and acts within a foreign agenda, we are not interested in any internal fighting. They are flesh of our flesh, and we want to break that equation in any way possible. Hamas has turned its rockets on the Zionist enemy to get out of this predicament, in which we found ourselves against our will. The campaign against the Zionist enemy pulled us out of the predicament that was pushing us into a corner”.

3. The statement made by Moussa Abu Marzouq demonstrates Hamas's attempt to establish an equation between the internal Palestinian situation and terrorism against Israel . Moussa Abu Marzouq candidly admitted that the rocket attack on Israel launched by Hamas in mid-May 2007 was designed to divert attention from the violent conflict with Fatah. Viewed from that perspective, Hamas's goal was achieved when the internal conflict stopped in light of the escalation of the fighting against Israel . Recently, when the rocket attacks launched by Hamas on Israel ceased, the violent clashes between Hamas and Fatah resumed. This might provide Hamas with an incentive to once again launch rocket attacks or other “quality” terrorist attacks against Israel, thus implementing the equation reflected in the statement made by Moussa Abu Marzouq.
