France is Still the Same old France

Over the last week Israel has given the terrorist Abbas 118 MILLION Dollars, released 250 Prisoners and is allowing the Fatah military to rearm itself. Over the past year Israel has basically ignored the fact that Abbas is still ordering terrorist attacks and the fact that Fatah and the PLO have never taken the destruction of Israel out of its "National Covenant" :

• Article 19: The establishment of Israel is fundamentally null and void, whatever time has elapsed ...
  
  
• Article 15: [We call for] the liquidation of the Zionist presence in Palestine
  
  
• Article 22: The liberation of Palestine will destroy the Zionist and imperialist presence and will contribute to the establishment of peace in the Middle East ...

The bottom line is that the Palestinian National Covenant calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. The PLO is still trying to destroy Israel---and Israel is being forced to make "guestures" to the PLO, and Mr. Abbas is given a free ride he isn't asked to make gestures. Even worse, Israel is being told the one sided concessions aren't even enough. If you ask me..they are too much.

French FM to Livni: Do more than release 250 prisoners

Israel must do more than just release more than 250 prisoners, although such a move is a "very good sign," French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner told Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni during a meeting in Paris. "We asked our Israeli friends to take a number of steps, which are more important than the release of 250 prisoners," he said. Among these, Kouchner mentioned the removal of checkpoints in the West Bank.
