Sun-Times Columnist Uses Anti-Jewish Slurs to Push Obama

In one pro-Obama op-ed Chicago Sun-Times Columnist Mary Mitchell , calls Barak Obama a liar, describes the racist Farrakhan and Wright as heroes, uses anti Jewish buzzwords, and pretends to understand what Jewish American's think. If you want to believe that Farrakhan and Wright are heroes to the black community, I can't argue that. I wouldn't begin to say that I could understand what the African-American community feels and why. But who the heck does Mary Mitchell think she is to try to explain the fears of the Jewish-American community and they dismiss them as if they are unwarranted. Her column today is just subtle bigotry:

When Sen. Barack Obama "rejected" and "denounced" the support of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan during the MSNBC debate last week, it wasn't his finest hour.

Fortunately for Obama, most black people understand the game.

Calling Obama a liar? His denial of Farrakhan is Just a game. Maybe thats why he has members of the Nation of Islam on his campaign staff See Obama BOMBSHELL MIDEAST WAR-Its All the JEWS Fault

No matter how many times Farrakhan explains, defends or refutes anti-Semitic comments that have been attributed to him, his kiss is still the kiss of death.

Please Ms Mitchell, how do you defend comments such as:

Saviours Day, Chicago, Illinois, 2/26/06 These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood that is seeding the American people and the people of the world and bringing you down in moral strength. It's the wicked Jews the false Jews that are promoting Lesbianism, homosexuality. It's wicked Jews, false Jews that make it a crime for you to preach the word of God, then they call you homophobic!
Is Jerusalem surrounded by armies now? [Crowd: yes, sir!] These neocons and Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government and our boys and girls are dying in Iraq and in Afghanistan for the cause of Israel, not for the cause of America! Israel is the tail wagging the dog, which is America. You may not like me, and I really don't give a damn. I'm throwing the gauntlet down today.

Maybe Mitchell doen't read the newspapers...but the Israeli Government recommend AGAINST going into Iraq. So tell me how is he not an anti-Semite? This is how your hero has defended his bigotry

Millions More Movement rally, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 8/31/05 I'm not an anti-Semite, I never have been one. I do not hate the Jewish people; put that down! What I hate is the degree of control that they exercise over Black intellectual, cultural expression. I do not think that no human being should determine how high we can go, that can only be determined by God and by us; not by no white man, no black man, no human being [crowd cheers]

Yes the Jews Control EVERYTHING, We keep the black man down..you better watch out minister because we do control the banks and can shut off your cash card anytime we want.

Ms. Mitchell do you really believe that Farrakhan is NOT a Jew hater. I am not implying that he is an Israel hater--I am saying that he is Jew Hater.

Here is one of my favorites:

Saviours Day: Chicago, 02/27/05 Listen, Jewish people don't have no hands that are free of the blood of us. They owned slave ships, they bought and sold us. They raped and robbed us. If you can't face that, why you gonna condemn me for showing you your past, how then can you atone and repent if somebody don't open the book with courage, you don't have that, but I'll be damned, I got it.

So Ms Mitchell is that continuing Jew hatred? Did you ever take history in college? Or Maybe you forgot, at the the time your hero Minister Farrakhan said that my ancestors were owning slave ships they were in Russia, getting beaten up by the Tzar's cossacks. Then in the late 1800s my ancestors ran across roofs in Odessa to finally escape to Poland, that didn't work out to well either. When those of us left made it to America, we became leaders of the Civil Rights movement, so what part of Obama's denial is just a game? I think the public has a right to know.

Ms. Mitchell continues:

Hours after Farrakhan praised Obama during his annual Saviours' Day speech last Sunday, the Obama campaign moved to distance the candidate from Farrakhan, telling the Associated Press that it did not solicit Farrakhan's support.

In responding to questions during the debate, Obama took a much stronger approach.

"I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan's anti-Semitic comments," Obama told Tim Russert, NBC Washington Bureau chief.

"I did not solicit his support. ... I obviously can't censor him, but it is not support that I sought. And we're not doing anything, I assure you formally or informally, with Minister Farrakhan."

That wasn't good enough for Russert.

He then dragged the Rev. Jeremiah Wright into the debate. Wright, who is retiring after 36 years as the head pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, accompanied Farrakhan to Libya in 1984 and once said the Nation of Islam leader epitomizes "greatness," Russert pointed out.

Stakes are too high

Now I do not know if the Rev. Wright is anti-Jewish, He makes me nervous because he is anti-white and because Senator Obama calls Wright his mentor see Barak Obama and His Mentor Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr Like this quote like when he called Natalee Holloway a slut:

"Black women are being raped daily in Africa. One white girl from Alabama gets drunk at a graduation trip to Aruba, goes off and gives it up while in a foreign country and that stays in the news for months."
Nice of the Reverend to comfort a family who's daughter was murdered. How bout this one:
"Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!... We [Americans] believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God."

Ms. Mitchell, If I was a the Mentor to a presidential candidate and said that Blacks believed in hating whites more than they believe in God... it wouldn't make you slightly nervous about that candidate? You wouldn't want someone to ask that candidate about what he felt about his mentor?

The point here, of course, is that these men -- one the pastor of an 8,000-member congregation where the church roll reads like a Who's Who of the Chicago black elite, and the other the leader of an organization that has historically saved young men from crime and drugs -- are unfit to even speak of Obama.

They are not unfit to speak of Obama, but why is it not a legitimate question to ask about HIS relationship with them?

After Sen. Hillary Clinton challenged Obama, saying "denounce" wasn't strong enough, Obama told Russert he would "reject and denounce" Farrakhan's support. The whole exchange made me ill.

You are right on that one...I reject AND renounce Hillary Clinton's statement.

Although Obama scored points for defusing a political bomb, his answer was insulting.

Yet the stakes are too high for African Americans to lose faith.

That's why on Thursday, Farrakhan issued the following statement:

"Those who have been supporting Sen. Barack Obama should not allow what was said during the Feb. 26 presidential debate to lessen their support for his campaign. This is simply mischief making intended to hurt Mr. Obama politically."

As one of Farrakhan's closest advisers put it, "At this point in the campaign, a 'pebble' can become a 'boulder.'"

"We are trying to focus on the motive," said Leonard Muhammad, chief of staff for the Nation of Islam.

"We know the motive is to have some negative effect on Obama's campaign, and we know the minister is not all those things that they have accused him of being for the last 20 years."

'It is just unfortunate'
Other longtime supporters of the Nation of Islam are willing to forgive Obama for playing into the hands of his staunchest critics

Senator Obama is campaigning on the basis that he will bring people together, why is it wrong to question his support of people who will tear us asunder?

"There is a new level of political maturity that one can observe going on in the black movement," said Conrad Worrill, a professor at Northeastern Illinois University Jacob Carruther's Center, and a co-founder of the National Black United Front.

"Right now, people are exercising political discipline as it centers around the goals of the black electoral empowerment movement. In the '60s, '70s or '80s, if this kind of condemnation had taken place by one of our revered leaders, there would have been a verbal bloodbath," he said.

"But the more we engaged in verbal rhetoric, the more our enemies used it against us. It is just unfortunate that at this moment in history we don't have the kind of power as a people to keep us from capitulating to forces that have their own agenda."

I love that quote...THE FORCES THAT HAVE THEIR OWN AGENDA? Ah the old dual loyalty slur....you meant those JEWS?

Oh let me remind you what the Jews were doing in the 60's and 70's we were fighting alongside Dr. King and other leaders to PROMOTE Civil Rights in America

At 74 years old, Farrakhan has paid his dues in the battle against racial oppression and hatred. Over the years, a lot of black people have disagreed with Farrakhan on his stance regarding Israel, and many of us have regretted his ongoing controversy with powerful Jewish leaders.

Yes folks, that Powerful Jewish Lobby, thanks Ms Mitchell that is two Jewish Stereotypes in two paragraphs. You forgot to mention that Jews make great husbands and are good with money.

Yet Farrakhan's appeal to masses of African Americans is that he is not a politician. And he is free to speak his mind because his organization does not depend on outside support.

Obama should have found a way to escape Russert's trap without denigrating Farrakhan's legacy.

But, like I said, we understand

What do you understand--that Farrakhan is a hater or that YOU are Ms Mitchell ? Or is it that you understand that unfortunately, despite his relationship with haters, despite his anti-Israel foreign policy advisers much of the Jewish community still support Senator Obama both politically AND financially? Source:Why Obama 'denounced' Farrakhan It wasn't candidate's best move -- but most blacks understand
