CAIR Chairman "WAR on TERROR is WAR on ISLAM"

Dr. Parvez Ahmed is the Chairman of the mainstream media's favorite terrorist supporting group; CAIR the Council on American Islamic Relations. The doctor is an American, but unfortunately he has a warped view of the the country that protects that provides him with freedoms and protections:

"[W]hen U.S. policies lead to killings and bombings as in Iraq, or the continued occupation as in Palestine, or even Afghanistan where the Taliban is reforming and there is a lot of violence, or the U.S. is not engaging with the democratic regimes -- We're talking about democratization in the Middle-East, but the most freely and fairly elected government in the Middle-East, which is the Palestinian government, the U.S. government is not engaging with them." (statement by Parvez Ahmed on Al-Jazeera television show discussing a new poll showing widespread anti-American feelings throughout the Muslim world, April 24, 2007) Immediately after Ahmed made his statement about how the U.S. should engage with Hamas ("the Palestinian government"), Al-Jazeera flashed the following caption at the bottom of the screen: "ARMED WING OF HAMAS ENDS TRUCE WITH ISRAEL." Today Ahmed was interviewed for Minister Louis Farrakhan website, Final Call and he explained the "real reason" for the War on Terror:

“The tactic of terrorism—and yes it is a tactic, not an ideology—has been deployed by a multitude of groups of different religions, ethnicities and ideologies and yet the Islamic faith, unlike any other, is erroneously and incessantly associated with terrorism,” said Dr. Parvez Ahmed, a national board member of the Council on American Islamic Relations. “The association of a faith practiced by 1.2 billion people worldwide to terrorism creates the perception that the GWOT is a war against Islam.”

He is right, we should also go after those 90 year-old Jewish ladies who play Mah Jong during the day and blow them themselves up at night. Can you see it. "Morris when you strap on the suicide belt put a heavy sweater on its cold out !"

Dr. Ahmed explained that right after 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, the federal government subjected 80,000 Arab and Muslim immigrants to fingerprinting and registration, sought out 8,000 Arab and Muslim men for FBI interviews and imprisoned over 5,000 foreign nationals in anti-terrorism preventive detention compounds.

“These arrests and detentions did not result in the conviction of a single person for a terrorist crime. Thus the U.S. government’s record for the largest ethnic profiling campaign stood at 0 for 93,000,” he said.

WOW 93 Thousand, you would think that the New York Times would have been ALL Over it.

“Between 1980 and 2003, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelan, a group that recruits from the predominantly Hindu Tamil population in Sri Lanka and whose ideology is intertwined with Marxism, was the world’s leader in suicide terrorism. Despite this, Islamic groups receive the most attention in the Western media,” said Dr. Ahmed.

Dr. Ahmed, what about your buddy Yassir and his boys? Oh right they don't count. BUT if they did count, the PLO and Fatah would Kick the liberation tigers Asses.

“Suicide bombings are the product of modern political violence. Suicide bombings by Muslims are not the result of any Islamic ideology, but rather they are the result of the sociopolitical conditions of occupations (such as Palestine, Chechnya and Iraq) and the outcome of proxy wars fought in Afghanistan, where America not only armed the mujihadeen, but also enabled a culture of drugs and violence,” he said

REALLY, then why are the IMAMS preaching terror and homicide bombings in mosques? Is it just an act for Halloween or something like that?

“ the decision to call someone or label some organization ‘terrorist’ becomes almost unavoidably subjective, depending largely on whether one sympathizes with or opposes the person/group/cause concerned,” he said.

“If one identifies with the victim of the violence, for example, then the act is terrorism. If, however, one identifies with the perpetrator, the violent act is regarded in a more sympathetic, if not positive (or worst, an ambivalent) light; and is not terrorism,” Dr. Ahmed said.

I believe Dr. Ahmed's definition is not subjective. If you blow up civilians it is terrorism, unless of course those civilians are Americans or even better yet Jews.
