The first shot was delivered yesterday when Obama made three separate stops in Missouri suggesting that republicans were trying to scare voters away from him.
"So nobody really thinks that Bush or McCain have a real answer for the challenges we face, so what they're going to try to do is make you scared of me," he told voters in Springfield. "You know, he's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. You know, he doesn't look like all those other Presidents on those dollar bills, you know. He's risky. That's essentially the argument they're making."You see in Obama's mind, he is so sure that his policies are correct that if his policies scare you, it must really be the color of his skin. Sorry Senator, your pigmentation doesn't scare me but your domestic policy and foreign policy scare me.
Today liberal blogger Josh Mashall (Talking Points Memo). Tried to portray the new McCain commercials as using an old stereotypes of the African American Obama and a bunch of young promiscuous white women:
I note with interest today, John McCain's new tactic of associating Barack Obama with oversexed and/or promiscuous young white women. (See today's new ad and this from yesterday.) Presumably, a la Harold Ford 2006, this will be one of those strategies that will be a matter of deep dispute during the campaign and later treated as transparent and obvious once the campaign is concluded.Folks this is all about Hubris. To the Liberals amongst us it is impossible for them to be wrong. Its as simple as that. If you don't agree with them, there must be something disjointed in your brain stem, like bias, or racism. It is nothing of the sort. We are afraid of the effect that higher taxes and lack of oil supply will have on the economy. We are afraid of what will happen on our shores if we give in to terrorists over seas. We are even afraid that keeping our borders porous will allow terrorist to come into the United States.THAT IS FEAR, and that is why we can't vote for anybody as liberal as Barack Obama, no matter what the color, religion, or gender of a particular candidate. To suggest anything else is, well RACIST!

I first realized that liberals don't have a clue what racism is when they first referred to the book Huckleberry Finn as racist The reality for these people is that they find racism in everything that conservatives do, but cannot see the racism implicit in all their social programs(or explicit in their attitude towards Israel).
