BLUNDER !-Obama Belittles Palin--Updated

Wow ! Up until now the Obama has made "little mistakes" but now his statement belittling Sara Palin is a MAJOR BLUNDER. His comment put down both Rural America and women. Instead of taking the High Road as McCain does he has shown himself to be a petty little politician.

Team Obama Lashes Out at Palin

by Jim Geraghty

Team Obama cannot even say, "Congratulations, Governor Palin, we look forward to a spirited race." Nope, first thing they do is attack, attack, attack:

Barack Obama's campaign is blasting John McCain for putting "the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency."

The scathing description of Sarah Palin, from Obama spokesman Bill Burton, comes as Democrats scramble to gather a response to a selection that nobody in the political world expected.

"Governor Palin shares John McCain's commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush's failed economic policies — that's not the change we need, it's just more of the same," added Burton.

Democrats will likely push the inexperience line against Palin as they race to comb oppo files from Wasilla to Juneau.

First, after spending the entire campaign talking about how experience isn't everything, Barack Obama, who's never held a full-time job for four years, cannot start hitting her on inexperience.

Rove just called the response "petty and small," and boy, this is going to just further convince the Pumas that sexism drives the Obama campaign.

UPDATE:Obama's campaign is trying to put the words "back in their mouth." One of their female hired guns just appeared on Fox and was all tied up in her underwear. (Her name is Julia Piccatti I was Driving home from the DMV and couln't write down the name) It is obvous that the Obama campain said very strongly to praise her as a woman and don't call mention small town. She said Obama/Biden Congratulat Palin and reiterated that she DOES NOT have the experience to be VP. She called her "a part-time mayor of a sm--,er-- a part time mayor of a City of less than 9,000"

When I first heard this announcement I was a bit worried because of the experience factor. But after thinking about it, driving home from the DMV. The difference between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is the GOP has the experieinced candidate as their number two, the Dems nominated the novice as number one. Additionally Palin has more experience that Obama.

Here's how McCain countered the Obama diss of Palin:

McCain aide Jill Hazelbaker:

It is pretty audacious for the Obama campaign to say that Governor Palin is not qualified to be Vice President. She has a record of accomplishment that Senator Obama simply cannot match. Governor Palin has spent her time in office shaking up government in Alaska and actually achieving results — whether it’s taking on corruption, passing ethics reform or stopping wasteful spending and the ‘bridge to nowhere.’ Senator Obama has spent his time in office running for president.

Is this a surprise? HELL no...the Democrats have become more attached to the SF/Chicago crowd, ie. the donors, the ones with money, etc, than to working class America. Furthermore, they're betrothed to the anti-war, abortion, environmentalist crowd, to the point that McCain has an opening, and he needs to exploit it.

I hope that Sarah Palin and Joe Biden do appearances on the View.

As a resident of Sarah Palin's home town of Wasilla I can tell you that I look forward to the debate with Boring Biden.

Palin will wrap him up and he won't even know it.

This is crazy. All McCain has done is criticize Obama for his lack of political experience. What has Palin done? She was mayor of a small Alaskan town and govenor for less time than Obama was a senator. "Attack, attack, attack."? Do a blow by blow comparison of Obama ads to McCain ads and you will see who is really attacking.
