Senator Obama's New Commercial is so Full of it that he neglected to send it to the press before it was aired, And I don't Blame him. The spot is called Original and that it is, there is little relationship between his commercial and reality.
The spot tries to paint the picture of McCain rubber stamping the Presidents energy policy. Now here is the Fun Part, there were only two Democratic Senators that voted FOR the President's energy bill, Obama was one of them. Senator McCain voted AGAINST it. So who is the Rubber Stamp.Narrator: He’s the original maverick.
Silent Super: Really?
McCain: “The president and I agree on most issues. There was a recent study that showed that I voted with the president over 90% of the time…”
Narrator: John McCain supports Bush’s tax cuts for millionaires, but nothing for a hundred million households.
He’s for billions in new oil company giveaways, while gas prices soar. And for tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.
The original maverick? Or just more of the same?
The commercial also seems to say the McCain's policy is to give corporate income tax breaks to the companies that send jobs overseas. Actually he is seeking to lower the corporate income tax to all companies, in order to get them to shift what used to be tax dollars to investing in their business.
Sorry Senator Obama, your commercial is false and very nasty.
