Senator Obama is now President-elect Obama for many Simple Reasons:
- Mr Nice Guy: McCain was too nice. When he finally stareted attacking it was too late and the issue became the economy.
- The Economy: AS SOON as the economic "doo doo" started hitting the fan McCain should have been beating up on Dodd, Frank and the Democratic Party. He didn't and lost control of the issue.
- He never explained suspending the campaign.
- Obama outspent McCain 10 to 1, and don't forget how hard the media worked to help him. The Media started supporting the democratic ticket as soon as George Bush was elected eight years ago...and that support never waned.
- The Republican party is now the party of spending, we allowed President Bush to run up the deficit long before the banking bailout.
- The Republican campaigned ignored the Blog world. We broke stories rally voters,all without their help or interest. When you think about it, I broke the Obama/socialist party story in May, it was never picked up. Pamela of Atlas broke the fraudulent campaign contributions before that and it was only recently used. The Party needs to pick up the pace and join the 21st century, the Democrats Did !
- To my Jewish Brethren you have just caused a lot more bloodshed in Israel, thanks to many of the major Jewish organizations in the country. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt that I am. We have Just created JEW-ICIDE. Shame on US ! My Prediction is that Israel will attack Iran sometime before inauguration day.and that will lead to a much larger war.

I don't think America Realizes what it just got itself into...
Those people rallying in Chicago are like the people on the roofs of the building in Independence Day with the 'Beam me up, Scotty!' signs. Remember what happened to them? Had Obama lost they would have rioted and killed each other. Lowest Common Denominator.
I'm trying to be positive about this. Had McCain been elected, he would be blamed for the continuing downturn of the economy, which will get worse before it gets better even with sound economic policies. Democrat policies can never work and it will get very, very bad before it gets better, and it will not get better under any Democrat president, not even Hillary. It wouldn't get better under McCain either, but it will be remarkable how dire it will be under Obama. I can only thank my lucky stars that I will still be in school for the duration of this term, so I have no shot at upward mobility under this administration anyway. I can see this being much worse than the Carter Administration. While many are saying that this could be the end of the GOP, I think this could be the end of the Dems. I really do. It will be nice to see all the Kool-Aid drinkers proven wrong. Obama has nothing positive for America, nor do Pelosi or Reid, not domestically, not internationally. They will drown in their own hubris, and we will all be saying 'I told you so.' And history will judge Obama/Biden as it judged Carter, and it will judge the American Left the way it judged the Germans who let HItler come to power. They knew he ws evil incarnate and they elected him anyway.
Also, the COLB thing will go to the Supreme Court, probably before the inauguration. There may very well never be a President Hussein Obama. It will be interesting to see if the Supreme Court disbands the Democratic Party for just one of the ways in which they have knowningly defrauded the American people. I hope they don't. I would like to see the Dems be shamed into oblivion.
Does anyone know where I can buy 'Don't blame me, I voted for" stickers to place atop my McCain stickers?
Oh, and Tancredo. That's who we need to mobilize the base. A real hawk with real prinicples who knows what's best for America. America isn't ready for him today, but mark my word: we will be in 2012.
Sammy, I, unfortunately, agree with you. I am not Jewish, but I have a lot of love and respect for the Jewish people. I believe like you do that we will be "underground" for the next 4 years (at minimum) and plan on fighting for the future of my child. God help us all.

I want a more Libertarian party. I'm sick of losing and electing idiots because of abortion. A Republican running in the middle could win if we could convince the abortion right that getting hit with a nuclear bomb is more pressing than ending abortion, a highly unlikely quest at best. Be about freedom.
