Terror Supporting Group, CAIR Fights Jesus Toy

The Long John Silver's in the Mall of America, had a toy in its Kids Meal that included a Bible Phrase and the not "Build with Jesus" written at the top. Last month a Muslim Family went to the restaurant and became outraged when they did not have any toys without the quote, so they complained to the Terrorist Support Group CAIR who called for a Probe of the company's toy distribution policy (Long John Silvers is owned by Yum! Brand who also owns KFC Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and A&W All-American Food). The full story is below:

From PR Newswire: CAIR-MN Calls for Probe of Religious Material in Children's Meal The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) today called on Kentucky-based Yum! Brands, the parent company of the Long John Silver's restaurant chain, to investigate a complaint reported to the Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization involving distribution of religious literature in a children's meal.

In November, a Muslim family visited a Long John Silver's restaurant at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., and ordered a children's meal for their three-year-old son. They noticed that the toy that came with the meal was a small notepad with the phrase "Build with Jesus" written at the top along with a quote from the Bible.

Although Muslims respect the Bible and believe in Jesus as a prophet of Islam, the family preferred a non-religious toy in the children's meal. After requesting an alternative toy for their child, the family was shown variations of the notepad, each containing a different verse from the Bible.

"While the restaurant has the right to distribute whatever materials it wishes, we believe it is inappropriate to include such texts in children's meals without first making parents aware of the religious content," said CAIR-MN Civil Rights Director Taneeza Islam. "It would be more appropriate if the restaurant offered toys that included wisdom from different faiths and offered a non-religious alternative."

CAIR-MN is asking Yum! Brands to:

1. Investigate the incident.

2. Offer the Muslim family a formal written apology.

3. Review the toy distribution policy for all restaurants and ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

4. Participate in CAIR's sensitivity and diversity training.

The restaurant chain has not responded to a November 17 letter from the Islamic civil rights and advocacy group.

HuH? I thought it was sent by CAIR, the only thing they advocate for is HAMAS.

Should the chain have non-Religious toys? Probably not, but not for legal or moral reasons, but for marketing reasons to attract customers of all kinds. And as far as an apology NO WAY. Besides, I am no expert but it seems to me that if the family was so concerned with Islam, they would not be eating at a fast food joint that serves non-Halal food.

And If they are so upset with Christian Toy, let them try going to into Saudi Arabia with a Christmas Tree and see how fast their asses get dragged into Jail.

If you think the above is SICK. Check this out. Do you know that According to the US Postal service, you cannot send any non-Muslim religious items to US Soldiers serving overseas? Read about it HERE.

Pushy Moslems!

If they don't like the toys offered at Long John Silver's, then let 'em eat somewhere else.

This is another absurd encroachment on the rights of a company to run its business the way it wants to, in our FREE country. As always on watch says, let them eat elsewhere.

Didn't see too many Jews or Christians complaining when LG televisions included a search the Koran feature (though I must admit that I wrote LG a note and let them know they'd lost me as a customer).

We must NOT cave to CAIR or any Muslim pressure--
