(King George) Obama Tries To SILENCE "Modern Tom Paine "

The Original Tom Paine is considered one of the fathers of the American Revolution because of of his famous pamphlet Common Sense he wrote and published on January 10, 1776; it quickly spread among the literate, and, in three months, 100,000 copies sold throughout the American British colonies. The strength of the original plain truth was that it was simple and direct. Common Sense turned heretofore complex ideas understandable to average readers.

If you haven't heard yet, Tom Paine has been reborn, well at least on You Tube, but the message is the same, its time for a new American Revolution  (if you can't see video below click here):



The modern Tom Paine is not calling for America to take up arms against its oppressors, he is calling for us to take up tea bags to condemn "non-representing representatives" and warns, "Only when they feel the almighty wrath of 'We The People' marching in the streets from California to New York shouting 'We're mad as hell and we want our country back' will they get the message they work for you."

This Paine is really named Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube. As of today the video above has been seen almost 3 Million times.  And its beginning to upset King George, who has summoned Basso to the White House to discuss his "disturbing" Video (H/T YWL Reader JasmineSea).

 He was scheduled this week to appear on the "Jerry Doyle Show" when he told the radio host that Obama had personally invited him to meet in the White House "to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos."

According to a spokesman for Doyle's show, at the time when Basso was supposed to be calling in for the show, he was unavailable. Basso reached the show several hours later, explaining he had been flooded by media calls and literally was unable to call out.

The result, the spokesman said, was that Basso promised to provide Doyle with the first exclusive interview after he meets with Obama, provided the invitation still stands after the meeting was leaked to the press.

The spokesman said information about the meeting has not been made public, and show producers are waiting to see what develops. Source

This is an attempt by our President to bully the people into submission.  We MUST fight back!!!

Just a personal suggestion, I believe what should develop is that we should redouble our efforts to send teabags to Congress and to the President of the United States. Show them that they need to listen to the people. Don't put in the whole bag, apparently they don't open those because they are suspicious of the contents. just send the tag/string for the tea bag.  Oh and as a nice little touch, put "Tom Paine" in the return address.
