Sign The Petition-->Tell Olbermann To Give Back His Pay Raise

General Electric, the parent company of MSNBC, has received a ton of dollars from the United States Treasury. GE Financial received billions of dollars in federal Troubled Asset Relief Program funds. And of course, GE will gain money through the energy-efficient retrofitting of municipal buildings the next generation of light bulbs is sold by GE.

Despite receiving that tax payer booty, MSNBC headliner has been railing against the bankers who received tax payer money (see video below) accusing them of being economic rapists:

At the same time he has been beating up on big buisness, Olbermann's salary almost doubled.

There is now a petition drive urging him to put his money where that trash bin he calls a mouth is.  The petition, called "The Worst Bailout in the World"  says:

Dear Mr. Olbermann,

While General Electric, the parent-company of your MSNBC network, was negotiating a $126 billion taxpayer-funded bailout, you signed a new contract raising your salary from $4 million to $7.5 million annually. You have used your show as a platform to call for the resignation of corporate executives accepting excessive bonuses on the backs of taxpayers who are picking up the tab for these atrocious bailouts, yet you yourself have no problem engaging in the same “class economic rape” that you accuse them of.

Please heed your own advice and stop accepting taxpayer money to subsidize your nightly diatribes. Resign or return the balance of your excessive raise to the U.S. Treasury.

Sincerely,
