Send Our Hero Troops a Care Package---OR ELSE !!!!

Look, There are only Five Days Left and its true that my team, the Steamers  has a big lead, but this is not just for the win... this is to give our hero troops a thank you and a little taste of home.

I have been asking very nicely all-week long but not all of you have come through so maybe a change in approach is needed. Lets make a deal ! You guys come through and buy a care package for folks overseas protecting us, Rover here gets a brand new bag of kibbles.  If not enough of you do....Well, let's just say the kibbles will not be necessary.

For those of you who are horrified, Don't worry I am joking, Unlike the commander-in-chief, I would never hurt a fly. But if you are horrified and have not bought a care package, let me put it this way. Our heroes overseas have a gun to their heads 24 hours a day. We need your help!  The Lid is participating an a "blogisphere-wide program run by Move America Forward, who's purpose is getting as many care packages as possible sent to the troops before  a June 25th Troopathon event that features Michelle Malkin, El Rushbo, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Kelsey Grammer, Gary Sinise,and Hot Air's Ed Morrissey. Most importantly, each care package will include a personal message written by you where you can express your gratitude to our military. This is done through the order form by putting your message in the Comments box. Along with your message will be included a "self-addressed" envelope for the troops to send you a Thank You note if, and when, they have time. This is done through the order form by putting your address in the Ship To field. Rest assured that all care packages are sent to Afghanistan and Iraq.
