Any mention of the 12th Imam by the Iranian despot should send shivers down your spine because Ahmadinejad believes his purpose in life is to bring about the coming of the Imam through a world-wide conflagration.
“We have documented proof that they [U.S.] believe that a descendant of the prophet of Islam will raise in these parts [Middle East] and he will dry the roots of all injustice in the world,” the hard-line president said, addressing an audience of families of those killed during the 1980’s war against Iraq.
“They have devised all these plans to prevent the coming of the Hidden Imam because they know that the Iranian nation is the one that will prepare the grounds for his coming and will be the supporters of his rule."
Iranian news website Tabnak said Ahmadinejad further revealed plots by both the East and the West to wipe out the Islamic Republic.
"They have planned to annihilate Iran. This is why all policymakers and analysts believe Iran is the true winner in the Middle East," he went on to proclaim, adding that they were after Iranian oil and other natural resources.
"In Afghanistan, they are caught like an animal in a quagmire. But instead of pulling their troops out to save themselves, they are deploying more soldiers. Even if they stay in Afghanistan for another 50 years they will be forced to leave with disgrace -- because this is a historical experience."Ahmadinejad and the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei practice the Hojjatieh's interpretation of Shiism. This type of Islam has a very messianic and apocalyptic view of the world. It predicts a period of universal chaos before the return of the Mahdi (the 12th imam, also known as the hidden imam, a Muslim version of the Messiah). This version of Islam is so radical that even the leader of the revolution against the Shah, Ayatollah Khomeini banned its practice in 1983.
Through the prism his faith, Ahmadinejad sees politics as the "continuation of war by other means." Once, when asked by students to define "what's the most beautiful for a Muslim on earth," he answered very matter of fact: "To kill and be killed."
Ahmadinejad believes that he has been chosen by Allah to hasten the return of this Muslim messiah. The way to achieve this goal for the Iranian president is the occurrence of a nuclear Holocaust. And this is why it is so vital for Ahmadinejad that Iran acquires a nuclear weapon.
During his September 2005 speech at the United Nations, Ahmadinejad said that he saw all the heads of state gathered blinded by a divine light while angels were circling above his head! As reported in the Financial Times:
"A leading website in Iran has published a transcript and video recording of President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad claiming to have felt "a light" while addressing world leaders at the United Nations in New York in September. Baztab.com - a website linked to Mohsen Rezaei, former commander of the Revolutionary Guards - said the recording was made in a meeting between the president and Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi-Amoli, one of Iran's leading Shia Muslim clerics.Taubmann' book tells us that Ahmadinejad's mother's name is Sayeed Khanom, which indicates that she is a descendant of the Prophet; but his father's pedigree is much less glorious. His name was originally Sabarian, which is most certainly Arabic (or even worse an Armenian name) either way it is an insult for most Iranians. His father whose first name was Ahmad changed his family name to Ahmadinejad, which could translate in "of the race of the prophet" since Ahmad was one of the multiple names used by the prophet.
According to the transcript, Mr Ahmadi-Nejad said someone present at the UN, possibly from his entourage, subsequently told him: "When you began with the words ‘In the name of God'... I saw a light coming, surrounding you and protecting you to the end [of the speech]." Mr Ahmadi-Nejad said he sensed a similar presence.
"I felt it myself, too, that suddenly the atmosphere changed and for 27-28 minutes the leaders could not blink," the transcript continues. "I am not exaggerating... because I was looking. All the leaders were puzzled, as if a hand held them and made them sit. They had their eyes and ears open for the message from the Islamic Republic."
Think about that for a second, his mother has the glorious position of a descendant of Mohammad; dad had the inglorious position of marrying way above his station. Papa must have had a tremendous inferiority complex, and I am sure that little Ahmadinejad learned from his dad's insecurity (I believe it's called prophet-envy).
In his younger adult years, Ahmadinejad trained to be a terrorist. He was involved with the taking of the US embassy and it is rumored that he suggested taking the Russian one as well.
Ahmadinejad was a close associate of Ayatollah Malahati, who was among the people that set up Iran's terrorist activities.
Malahati reportedly supervised the Oct. 23, 1983 Beirut terror attacks against the U.S. Marines and French soldiers barracks that killed 241 U.S. servicemen and 58 French paratroopers.
In his new role Ahmadinejad allegedly planned assassinations in the Middle East and Europe of opponents to the regime, such as the Kurdish leader Qasselou in July 1989 in Vienna.
In other words the guy has a real taste for blood. But it's worse than that. You have a guy who's mother descended from the prophet, a dad trying to make up for the fact that he is the Iranian version of trailer trash and what you end up with is a nut job with a Messiah complex.
Are we scared yet? This guy thinks he is supposed to bring on the "end of days" and the only way to do that is to kill millions of people. So Mr President you want to let him get nukes?
