Voters Tell Congress:No Amnesty, Secure the Borders

The propaganda of the progressives pushing amnesty for illegal immigrants, says the fight against amnesty for Illegals and the securing of our borders is simply a matter of an angry backlash against non-whites entering the country.

The real reasons behind the securing the border movement are national security, and the strain on the economy.

Cases such as the Hezbollah Mole in the CIA case (Nada Nadim Prouty) and the 19-year old Jordanian illegal alien arrested last September for trying to blow up a downtown Dallas office tower, are both examples of why we need to protect our borders. The simple fact is that its more difficult to launch an terrorist attack when you can't get in the country.


A new poll by Rasmussen shows that two thirds of voters feel that illegal immigration is a major burden on the U.S. federal budget.

Two-out-of-three (66%) voters say the availability of government money and services draw illegal immigrants to the United States. Nineteen percent (19%) think otherwise and do not believe government money and services are a magnet for illegal immigration. Another 15% are not sure.

Sixty-eight percent of voters say control the borders first, then figure out how to deal with the status of Illegal immigrants. But American voters believe that congress will ignore their wishes.

Just 20% say Congress is at least somewhat likely over the next year to pass legislation to gain control of the border and reduce illegal immigration, with a mere four percent (4%) who think it’s very likely. Seventy-one percent (71%) see congressional action this year to control the border as unlikely, with 47% who say it’s not very likely and 24% who say it’s not at all likely.

On the other hand, 45% believe it’s at least somewhat likely that Congress in the next year will pass legislation to create a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. This finding includes 10% who say it’s very likely.

...This belief that Congress is more likely not to do what the majority of voters favor illustrates why unhappiness with Congress has reached the highest level ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports. Seventy-one percent (71%) of voters now say Congress is doing a poor job, and 63% say it would be better for the country if most congressional incumbents were defeated this November.

As the President, and the progressives in congress are about to shove health care down the throats of the American people, it is understandable why voters feel that Congress will ignore them.

Fifty-six percent (56%) say the policies and practices of the federal government encourage people to enter the United States illegally. Twenty-seven percent (27%) disagree, and 17% are not sure.

Seventy-five percent (75%) of voters are angry at the government’s current policies, up nine points since September.

A majority of voters across virtually all demographic categories agree that illegal immigrants are a strain on the budget and that they are drawn to America by the availability of government money and services. But there are partisan differences.

Eighty-three percent (83%) of Republicans and 73% of Independents say illegal immigrants are a budget strain. Almost half (48%) of Democrats agree, while 40% disagree.

Eighty percent (80%) of voters rate the issue of immigration as at least somewhat important in determining how they will vote in the next congressional election. That includes 50% who say it is very important to them

The Motivation of the Progressives Democrats to support illegal immigration is much more nefarious. They are looking for illegal immigrants to grow and extend their political power.

Don't take my words as proof, take a look at the video below. At the "progressive" America's Future Now! conference in Washington, DC this past June, SEIU International Executive Vice President Eliseo Medina addressed attendees on the issue immigration reform. Mr. Medina gave the Progressives reason for amnesty, 8 million new progressive voters:

"..when they voted in November, they voted overwhelmingly for progressive candidates. Barack Obama got two out of every three voters that showed up"

So I think there's two things that matter for the progressive community. Number one, if we are to expand this electorate to win, the progressive community needs to solidly be on the side of immigrants, that we'll expand and solidify the progressive coalition for the future..." When you are in the middle of a fight for your life you will remember who was there with you. And immigrants count on progressives to be able to do that. Number two. We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if we have, even the same ratio, two out of three? If we have eight million new voters who care about ...... and will be voting. We will be creating a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle.
