Today Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, gave the typical elitist evaluation of the Tea Party movement. Its all about anger:
“They identify with the anger,” Rendell said. “I don’t think they identify with the movement. I don’t think the Tea Party has been very successful in fielding their own candidates. I don't think they've been very successful in getting the number of signatures on petitions – we’ll see as we go through.”The Head of MSNBC, Keith Olbermann says this about the tea parties:
If racism is not the whole of the Tea Party, it is in its heart, along with blind hatred, a total disinterest in the welfare of others, and a full- flowered, self-rationalizing refusal to accept the outcomes of elections, or the reality of democracy, or the narrowness of their minds and the equal narrowness of their public support." On Saturday, that support came from evolutionary regressives like Michele Bachmann and Jon Voight. On a daily basis that support comes from the racists and homophobes of radio and television: the Michael Savages and the Rush Limbaughs.
Truth is, there is tons of incitement, anger and hatred surrounding the Tea Parties. There is even hate speech. Watch the video below and see all the hate, none of it is coming from the people involved in the Tea Parties, the anger, incitement and hate speech is coming from those angry progressive elitists that are afraid of the average American getting involved in the political process.
