As you can tell by the video above, Revolutionmuslim.com does not believe that South Park is very funny. In fact the website's proprietors are going after the creators of the TV's "South Park" after an episode last week included an image of the Prophet Mohammad in a giant teddy bear costume.
Yesterday Revolutionmuslim.com posted an entry that included a warning to South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone that they risk violent retribution after last weeks episode included a satirical discussion about whether an image of the prophet could be shown. This was the second time South Park has shown Mohammad, the first time he wasn't wearing a costume.
“We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.” (Theo van Gogh was a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered by an Islamic extremist in 2004 after making a short documentary on violence against women in some Islamic societies)
Revolutionmuslim.com included the graphic picture on the left that shows the dead Van Gogh. Revolutionmuslim.com went on to advise readers:
“You can contact them [the makers of South Park], or pay Comedy Central or their own company a visit at these addresses …” before listing Comedy Central’s New York address, and the Los Angeles, California, address of Parker and Sloane’s production company.According to CNN, the author of the post, Abu Talhah al Amrikee, said that providing the addresses was not intended as a threat to the creators of South Park but to give people the opportunity to protest.
Over still photographs of Parker, Stone, van Gogh and others, the Web site runs audio of a sermon by the radical U.S.-born preacher Anwar al-Awlaki, who is now in hiding in Yemen. The sermon, recorded some time ago, talks about assassinating those who have “defamed” the Prophet Mohammed – citing one religious authority as saying “Harming Allah and his messenger is a reason to encourage Muslims to kill whoever does that.” U.S. officials say al-Awlaki is on a list of al Qaeda leaders targeted for capture or assassination.
The clip ends with a warning on a graphic directed at Parker and Stone, saying “The Dust Will Never Settle Down.” [Which must make it very hard to clean up.]
Al Amrikee said the purpose of including the al-Awlaki sermon in his posting was to remind Muslims that insulting the prophet is a severe offense for which the punishment in Islam is death.Revolutionmuslim.com is nothing more than a hate site. A CNN report on the two released last year reported:
Protected by the Constitution of the country they detest, radical Muslim converts like Yousef al-Khattab and Younes Abdullah Mohammed preach that the killing of U.S. troops overseas is justified. In their thinking, so were the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States -- and so are attacks on almost any American.Fun Guys Right? As the CNN report said, these guys hate everything about the country that gives them the freedom of spewing hatred.
"Americans will always be a target -- and a legitimate target -- until America changes its nature in the international arena," Mohammed said in an interview to air on tonight's "AC 360."
Al-Khattab and Mohammed consider al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden their model.
"I love him like I can't begin to tell you, because he doesn't seem to have done anything wrong from the sharia," al-Khattab said, referring to Islamic law. "If you're asking me if I love him as a Muslim, I love him more than I love myself."
South Park has made fun of Mohammad, along with Moses, Jesus, Confucius, Buddha and probably worse than any other L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology, it has made Fun of Presidents, Actors, Politicians, despots, lets face it, just about everyone and everything. Younes Abdullah Mohammad should appreciate the value of humor, after all he grew up Jewish (in Israel yet).
Below is another video, where South Park creators talk about their decision to use Mohammad in last weeks episode.
