More Americans Than EVER Want Obamacare Repealed

Nancy Pelosi was correct, America didn't completely understand what was in the Obamacare bill until it was passed.  Unfortunately for Nancy and her progressive lemmings, now that voters better understand what is in Obamacare, they hate it even more.

Rasmussen has been following Amercan voter's attitudes toward repealing Obamacare since it was passed. The latest report shows that support for repeal of the national health care plan has jumped to its highest level ever, 63% of U.S. voters want the bill gone, only 32% oppose repeal.

The new findings report 46% strongly favor repeal of the health care bill and 25%Strongly oppose it, which gives the repeal a +21 approval index.

This is the first time that support for repeal has passed 60%. .

Only one-third of voters believe the health care plan will be good for the country, down six points from a week ago and the lowest level of confidence in the plan to date.  Fifty-five percent say it will be bad for the nation. .

The political elite continues to be a strong supporter of the plan, 67% of mainstream voters believe the plan will be bad for America, 77% of the political elite think it be good for the country.

Why does America hate Obamacare?

  • Sixty-three percent of all voters expect the health care plan to increase the federal deficit. only 12% have consumed the kool aid and expect the bill to reduce the deficit.
  • Fifty-five percent understand that the plan will reduce the quality of health care in the country, 20% expect it to improve the quality of health care,18% think quality will stay about the same.
  • Fifty-five percent agree with the Chief Medicare Actuary and  expect the health care plan to drive up the cost of health care. Only 18% believe health care costs will indeed go down because of the plan’s passage, 16% expect costs to stay about the same.
  • While sizable majorities of Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major party continue to favor repeal of the plan, most Democrats remain supportive.
It is no surprise that American voters have a "vote the bums out" attitude about congress. We are saddled with a heath care bill which every day we find out more about, and what we learn is all bad. The more we learn the more we hate it.

Now, all we have to do is get that 63% off of their apathetic asses and into voting booths...

If this thing gets repealed, do the folks who wind up paying any of the taxes prior to the repeal get their money back? i.e tanning businesses, the 3.8% tax on a home sale, etc.?
