The show was discussing Fox Host Mike Huckabee this morning. MSNBC's Scarborough got onto one of his favorite subjects, Fox News and Roger Ailes. As usual, Scarborough made his pitch that Fox and Ailes control the GOP. "Roger Ailes is the most powerful voice in the Republican Party," he said. "He has set up something that-- it is the only organizing institution for the GOP because everybody's let Republicans down in Washington DC. It's Roger."
Scarborough's contention would have some bite if during the same show his partner, Mika Brzezinski admitted that she has been "working with the White House" on oil spill talking points.
MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Do you want to know why I have a file that I've been working on with the White House—and I'll be very transparent about that? Because of your friend Rudy Giuliani who came here last week spewing out a whole bunch of nothing.(video below)

Now I know that Mika loves Obama almost as much as her father hates Jews, but still, it doesn't seem appropriate for a TV News host to use White House talking points as her source of information, especially when during the same show, the host calls it larger competitor the tool of the Republican Party.
