Father/Brother of Muslim Harry Potter Actress Arrested in Attempted "Honor Killing"-She Was Dating a Hindu

The Religion of Peace treats women in a disgusting manner.  Women's rights are compromised by a section in the Quran, Sura 4:34, that has been interpreted to say that men have "pre-eminence" over women or that they are "overseers" of women. The verse goes on to say that the husband of an insubordinate wife should first admonish her, then leave her to sleep alone and finally beat her. Wife beating is so prevalent in the Muslim world that social workers who assist battered women in Egypt, for example, spend much of their time trying to convince victims that their husbands' violent acts are unacceptable.

Beatings are not the worst of female suffering. Each year hundreds of Muslim women die in "honor killings"-- murders by husbands or male relatives of women suspected of disobedience, usually a sexual indiscretion or marriage against the family's wishes whether the charges were actually true or not.

A brand new case of attempted "Honor Killing"  Afshan Azad, a 22 year British Muslim who has appeared in four Harry Potter films as Padma Patil, a classmate of the boy wizard and twin sister of Parvati Patil. Afshan was dating a Hindu man, against the wishes of her zealot father. So her dad and brother decided to kill her. The actress is believed to be in hiding, staying with friends in London

Her father Abdul, 54, and brother Ashraf Azad, 28, both of Longsight in Manchester, were arrested and charged. Both are accused of threatening to kill her. Ashraf Azad is also accused of assaulting his sister causing her actual bodily harm.

They appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and the case was adjourned until July 12 for committal proceedings to crown court.

They had been in custody until this week’s court appearance when they were bailedAs part of their bail conditions, they have to abide by an 11pm to 6am curfew and must not travel to London or contact an unnamed man.

Miss Azad lived with her father, mother Nilofar and her three brothers. Speaking at the family’s semi-detached home, her brother Ashraf, a customer services adviser, said:

‘We are going to get trouble from the community now. It is bad news for our safety, her safety.

‘My younger brother is going to get harassed at college. All our family is going to be harassed by the community because of this. Her career could be ruined. When she goes to a premiere or something, they are going to ask her about this not about the film.’
Ashraf don't you think you should have thought about that before you tried to kill your sister?
Miss Azad was studying for her AS levels at Xaverian College in Rusholme, Manchester, when she was cast in the 2005 film Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.

She was cast as Padma, the twin sister of Parvati Patil, played by actress Shefila Chowdhury. The sisters are Harry Potter's classmates at the Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry. .

...She will be seen in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, which is due for release next year.

Her family is originally from Bangladesh though both her parents were born and educated in the UK.
Once again, this points out a major difference between this Muslim zealots and animals, most animals protect their young the Azad family KILLS theirs.
