World Net Daily Continues to Throw Slime at Conservative Movement

World Net Daily Editor Joseph Farrah continues to make fodder for the progressives looking to attack Conservatives, Republicans, and Tea Party Members.  For those of you who are not familiar with WND, it is more like a supermarket tabloid then a news and opinion site.  Instead of writing about aliens landing in Washington DC like a supermarket tabloid, WND writes about things like the "birther" nonsense

Amongst the stories on it's front page right now are four birther stories, and a story about two people who have seen bible revelations come alive.

Farah is now spreading another false sensationalist story, that Gays and Lesbians are not allowed to be part of the Conservative movement.


It started two weeks ago when Farah decided to drop conservative pundit and author, Ann Coulter as the keynote speaker for its "Taking America Back National Conference" next month, because of her plan to be the keynote speaker at "Homocon," an event put together by GOProud the first genuinely conservative group for gay Republicans (Coulter's column will still be carried by the site).

Now he is going after the other sponsors

The Republicans and "conservatives" are now lining up to support GOProud's "Homocon" event in New York next month – now that Ann Coulter has accepted the keynote speaker role.

Venture capitalist, libertarian and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel will host a Homocon party at his home in New York.

Sponsors for the Homocon event now include:

• Conservative Political Action Conference director Lisa DePasquale;

• Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist, who sits on GOProud's board;

• John Hawkins of Right Wing News;

• Fox News contributor Margaret Hoover;

• Craig Engle, former general counsel to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Suffice it to say, I told you so. I told you this event was aptly named. It literally represents the homo conning of the Republican Party and the conservative movement.

Farah is ignoring one key fact,   the key to restoring America to greatness is to vote the  progressive Democrats out of office. Ann Coulter,  and John Hawkins, Lisa DePasquale along with GOProud and the rest of the program's sponsors are important parts of that effort.

Before he criticizes others,  Farah should work on his own site. With the exception of Aaron Klein's reports from Jerusalem, World Net Daily has become something of a joke filled with fear stories, get rich quick schemes, and a few legitimate columnists.  Some of the sites hard news stories have been copied from blogs without attribution. Farah's reliance on fear stories and the  the discredited birther nonsense, along with his intolerance for Gay Republican's is nothing but a road block for the right-wing politics and ammunition for the progressives, who use WND to disparage all of the conservatives.
