The spewing of anti-Semitic hatred occurred while the Priest was being interviewed on a morning show of Greece's largest television station, Mega TV. He said that international Zionism tries to destroy family values by promoting one-parent families and same-sex marriages, and said there is a Zionist conspiracy to enslave Greece and Christian Orthodoxy.
When the Greek host asked him, "Why do you disagree with Hitler's politics? If they are doing all this, wasn't he right in burning them?," the Metropolite answered, "Adolf Hitler was an instrument of world Zionism and was financed from the renowned Rothschild family with the sole purpose of convincing the Jews to leave the shores of Europe and go to Israel to establish the new Empire."
He went on to say that Jews such as "Rockefeller, Rotchschild and Soros control the international banking system that controls globalization."
Next time, before he opens his mouth to utter hateful things, Seraphim Mentzelopoulos, The Metropolite of Piraeus Seraphim should study a bit more of that "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Man" stuff. From what my Christian friends tell me, it was a really big part of Jesus' message.

David Horowitz's restoration weekend covered the growing "War Against Israel". You can get the podcast or read it on his website. No longer do they hide in the dark, it is open and widely believed throughout Europe. The stats are frightening and we Jews better be get strapped in for another one of rides.

Sad how hard it is for people to look in the mirror. I would think it easy to see if consumption exceeds production your economy will tank. a teenager learning the finer points of checking account maintenance learns this before leaving home (hopefully). Blaming the Jooos for Hitler is a fun new twist, wish this grand poobah would take that message to all the Jooo haters out there, let 'em know their Jooo hating philosophy is all part of a big Jooo conspiracy and they ought to find something more constructive to do with their lives, like grow up, move out of Mom's house, and go to work so their crappy economy might improve.

All too typical of the Eastern churches. A little surprising, however, coming from a Greek; this is the kind of idiocy one may more easily find among Middle-Eastern Christians.
Among those Christians who live as minorities in Muslim countries, it's easy to see a Stockholm Syndrome effect. After all, everyone in Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, knows it's the You-Know-Who who are responsible for all the world's evils. And they poison the drinking water, of course...
