Mubakak..."Screw Off Obama" I'm Not Going Anywhere

All day long there was Chaos, some said Mubarak was going to resign others said not yet. The crowds in the square was anticipating their victory, but that victory was not to be had. It started with a smack against Barack Obama as Mubarak said,  I refused to be dictated to by outside forces no matter who it comes from.

Apparently the Egyptian President is tuning power over to VP Omar Suleiman  but is not resigning from official position as president of Egypt. Mubarak reaffirmed that he will not run in elections in September, and said that those who died during the Egypt protests did not die in vain, adding that he felt the pain of those who had lost family members.
The "blood of your martyrs will not be wasted," he said. "I will not be easy in punishing the people who have caused these injuries and I will hold accountable all the people who committed crimes against you."
Mubarak said he believed in the honesty of the demands of the protesters and their intentions. But in an ominous  said he cannot allow the Chaos to continue.

The reaction of  the protests...as predicted was anger!

Today shows the extent to which the American Government has played this wrong.  The CIA director who should know..blew it this morning..saying that Mubarak was leaving.

James Clapper the Director of National Intelligence ridiculously  called the Muslim Brotherhood "largely secular."

Clapper said:
"The term 'Muslim Brotherhood'...is an umbrella term for a variety of movements. In the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaida as a perversion of Islam. They have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, et cetera.....In other countries, there are also chapters or franchises of the Muslim Brotherhood, but there is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally."
Madness, and here is something else out President hasn't though of.  Based on Mubarak's speech and other comments coming out of the Egyptian government today telling the US to stay out.  Is it possible that Barack Obama has pushed Mubarak into a corner where he has no way of saving face, except staying in office? Either way it looks as our government had no idea what Hosni Mubarak was going to say...another failure for Obama.

More to come...
