Obama Relases Long Form Birth Certificate Copy Embedded Here-Birther Nonsense OVER!

OK , birthers game over! Note to Mr. Trump, you're fired. The silly issue over Obama's birth certificate that was shown to be a non-issue three years ago has finally been put to bed (hopefully)

Today, the president finally released the long form birth certificate. The President directed his counsel to review the legal authority for seeking access to the long form certificate and to request on that basis that the Hawaii State Department of Health make an exception to release a copy of his long form birth certificate and they agreed.

I know what you are thinking, why did he wait so long and why did he release it now?

Obama waited so long because it was a winning issue for him, or rather it was a losing one for his opposition. If I was President Obama and there were no birther movement, I would invent one. It destroys the credibility of anyone who talks about it. To moderates and liberals, the birther movement is the right-wing equivalent of those drooling liberals who are still calling the 2000 election stolen, 21 years after George Bush was declared the winner.

Why did he release it now?  Because recent polls have shown the issue is gaining traction outside the loony class.

The only explanation I could think of that could possibly prove that Obama was born outside of Hawaii  is that someone at the DNC performed one of those Star Trek maneuvers, when they fly toward the sun to pick up speed, circle the sun and come back in the past, like they did in Star Trek IV to pick up some Whales for the future. In this case the purpose would be to place those Obama birth announcements in the paper the week he was born.  But since there was no evidence for a Starship Enterprise solar mission, the birther claim was never valid (before today I would even accepted a Romulan Ship as long as the cloaking device still works).

Just like the lugnuts who are still counting chads a decade after George Bush defeated Al Gore, this renewed birther thing will not win. Besides if the birther claim was true, Joe Biden, the SCHMOTUS would have let is slip it out months ago.

The real loser in today's release is Donald Trump who has been revealed as being irresponsible. Over the past few weeks he has said that his investigators are down in Hawaii and you wouldn't believe what they have found (even though no one had been contacted by any Trump investigators) and the other day he appeared on CNN and claimed that he had been told by secret sources that the birth certificate was missing, that too has been revealed as untrue. If Trump will release unproved information about an issue he raised himself  what other information will he be reckless about.

There is so much to attack President Obama about.  His domestic policies are pushing the US down the road toward bankruptcy, his foreign policies are making us the laughing stock of the world.  This nonsense about Obama's  birth certificate is taking attention from the real arguments. Now that the long form has been released, we can finally get back to the real issues we are facing.
