This little speech below was made by Paul on the house floor--he claims that Israel created Hamas
The founders of Hamas may be surprised that they were created by Israel (so would the leaders of Israel).
Hamas ishort for Harakat al-Muqawamat al-Islamiyya (Islamic Resistance Movement) is an Islamic fundamentalist group founded on December 14, 1987 by Ahmed Yassin and Abdel Aziz Rantisi, members of the Muslim Brotherhood. In its charter Hamas describes itself as one of the wings of the Muslim Brotherhood (Called the Association of Muslim Brothers).
Does Ron Paul also believe that Israel created the Muslim Brotherhood so it could create Hamas?

Dr Paul is describing the situation where Tel Aviv, through use of Mossad like Washington uses the CIA, used Hamas, unbeknownst to them, for the purposes of causing problems for Yasser Arafat, Palestinian leader and general thorn in the Israeli side. Of course, it has rather come back to bite them in the ass, unsurprisingly. It is rather similar to the situation Washington and its intelligence agencies found itself in after training the mujahideen in Afghanistan to go against Moscow, only to come back and bite their collective asses in '98, '00, and '01.
Amazing how life repeats itself when we as humans continue making the same choices, all the while expecting different results. I believe a rather intelligent man once called that the definition of insanity.
