Libya Gives Obama's a Lousy News Sunday

(There are four videos in this post, if you cannot see them please click here and read the post on my web site).

The Obama Administration's cover up of the details of the Libya was a big topic on today's Sunday News shows and it did not go well for the campaign surrogates.

For example Robert Gibbs was on Candy Crowley's Face the Nation Show and when asked if the President is ultimately responsible for the attack on our mission in Benghazi, no matter whether it was a spontaneous attack or terrorism?  Since he is the Commander-in-Chief the answer should have been easy-- yes. But Gibbs looked foolish because he could not admit the buck stops in the Oval Office.

Chris Wallace interviewed David Axelrod.  When Axelrod claimed Libya was only an issue because Romney made it an issue, Wallace "attacked" and Axelrod looked like he was about to cry like a baby.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm suggested that the refusal to give the Embassy more support is meaningless because the attack was at the mission in Benghazi instead of  at the embassy in Tripoli (the Ambassador would not take some extra protection when traveling to Benghazi?).

As Lindsey Graham explained on Face The Nation :
Well, the facts are there was never a riot. The night in question, September 11, Ambassador Stevens was being visited by the Turkish ambassador. There wasn’t a soul around the compound. And the coordinated attack lasted for hours with al Qaeda-associated militia. My belief is that that was known by the administration within 24 hours. And, quite frankly, Susan Rice, on your show on September 16th, the President on the 18th and the 25th, kept talking about an attack inspired by a video. They're trying to sell a narrative, quite frankly, that the Middle East, the wars are receding and al Qaeda's been dismantled, and to admit that our embassy was attacked by al Qaeda operatives and Libya leading from behind didn't work I think undercuts that narrative. They never believed the media would investigate, Congress was out of session, and this caught up with them. I think they have been misleading us, but it finally caught up with them

The Administration cover-up is catching up with them, but his surrogates are still doing their best to keep ahead of the truth.
