NRA Announces Friday Presser-Shows More Class Than MSM

The NRA Issued This Press Release today which demonstrated they have much more class than the mainstream media which screamed about gun control before the bodies of the Sandy Hook victims were even cold:

The National Rifle Association of America is made up of four million moms and dads,
sons and daughters – and we were shocked, saddened and heartbroken by the news of the horrific and senseless murders in Newtown.

Out of respect for the families, and as a matter of common decency, we have given time for mourning, prayer and a full investigation of the facts before commenting. 

The NRA is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never
happens again.

The NRA is planning to hold a major news conference in the Washington, DC area
on Friday, December 21.

Details will be released to the media at the appropriate time.

They didn't mention whether there is a contingency plan should the Mayan prophesy be correct and the world ends on Friday. 
 
During the past week the press kept mentioning the NRA's silence, figuring the group was embarrassed into silence.

The truth is the organization's silence was both the compassionate and wise thing to do. Unlike the progressives and MSM, the NRA let the victims and their families take the limelight. They also allowed the progressives to show their hands before formulating a response.
