Yesterday was Crap on Krugman day...and it was well deserved. Economist-turned liberal campaigner Paul Krugman got absolutely creamed on ABC's This Week yesterday, first by George Will who accused the Pulitzer prize winner of responding to every disagreement with name calling:
I have yet to encounter someone who disagrees with you who you don't think is a knave or corrupt or a corrupt knave.
This was followed later in the show with Mary Matalin bashing the full time campaigner Krugman by asking
MATALIN: Are you an economist or a polemicist?
KRUGMAN: There’s only — there’s only $450 billion that you can get by doing that.
MATALIN: Just make up your mind. Do you want to talk about the economy or do you want to talk about polemics?
Krugman got what he deserved....don't you think EVERY day should be crap on Krugman day?
