Graham and McCain Demonstrate What's WRONG With The GOP

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation-5th Amendment to the Constitution
It's hard to imagine that a war hero like John McCain  could be such a political coward.  Today Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham took to the Senate floor to denounce Rand Paul's  demands about the drone program saying he was doing a “disservice” to the debate on drones.
“The country needs more senators who care about liberty, but if Mr. Paul wants to be taken seriously he needs to do more than pull political stunts that fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms. He needs to know what he’s talking about,”  McCain said.
He added:
“What we saw yesterday is going to give ammunition to those who say the rules of the Senate are being abused,” the Arizona Republican said.
When asked whether the president has the power to kill Americans here at home Senator Graham said;
“I do not believe that question deserves an answer,”
Folks Lindsey Graham and John McCain are great examples of what is wrong with the Republican party today--the lack of guts to take a stand.  It is the same thing that happened yesterday with the house GOP approving a continuing resolution which funded Obamacare.

Its time for the GOP leadership, old guard...whatever they want to call them to understand that compromise on execution is possible, but there is no compromise on the constitution.

Apparently  the president believes that Senator Paul was asking an important question. AG Eric Holder just released the letter below:

Of course the answer is no..what took the administration so long to answer.  After all  this is the same president who wanted to move terrorist trials to NYC where the murderers behind 9/11 could get 5th amendment protection, how could they stand up against granting that protection to American Citizens.

Career politicians such as McCain and Graham will never understand this but Senator Paul was not making a political point, he was taking a stand to protect the Constitution of the United States. We need more Senators like Paul, Rubio, Lee, and Cruz and fewer like McCain and Graham.

McCain and Graham: Dine with the enemy and no doubt praising his stupidity.
Rand Paul: Stands and protects the American people.

McCain and Graham: Fights to instill liberalism within the GOP party.
Rand Paul: Fights to recover our heritage of Constitutionalism

McCain and Graham: Politicians with no virtue.
Rand Paul: A virtuous individual.

McCain and Graham: Refuse to stand and fight for the people. Rather, the party is all-important.
Rand Paul: Refuses to fight for the party. The people are all-important

McCain and Graham: Refuse to be chained down by the limitations of the Constitution. Hence, politicians.
Rand Paul: Refuses to govern outside the Constitutional limitations. Hence a statesman.

It amazes me that McCain and Graham are so fired up about finding out what happened in Bengazi. It was McCain who was beating the war drums encouraging this administration to go to war alongside of and equip the so-called Libyan opposition who turned out to be Al-Qaeda. Then Al-Qaeda and its various splitter groups turn and attack the embassy killing four Americans. It is McCain’s beating the war drums that lead to the environment that created the very situation that gave us the Sept. 11 Bengazi attack.
