Is Executive Incompetence Killing Obamacare?

Perhaps the best way to rid this country of the affront to our freedom called Obamacare was to enact the legislation. Because as we have learned so many other times, the Obama presidency is excellent at selling the American people on its agenda, but awful at managing them (or any other part of the executive branch).

The latest indication of their executive incompetence is that the health care exchanges designed to make it easier for small businesses to provide health insurance will miss the start date outlined in the bill and will be delayed by an entire year (till 2015)
"Lots of small businesses struggle with providing insurance for their workers so this was supposed to facilitate it and make it easier for small business to do this," said Jim Capretta of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. "It was a huge portion of the sale job. When they passed the law in 2010 there were many senators and members of Congress who were saying 'I am doing this because it's going to help small businesses.'"

The exchanges were designed to give workers a range of choices supported by dollars from their employers. But now they will have only one choice until 2015, which could mean they can't shop for insurance that includes their current providers. Capretta said the administration is "way" behind schedule.
How bad is this delay? The announcement was so disheartening to Obama apologist Joe Klein of Time Magazine that he bashed the implementation of the administration's signature program using his own name (as opposed to his book on Bill Clinton's campaign Primary Colors, which he penned using a pseudonym).
This is a really bad sign. There will be those who argue that it’s not the Administration’s fault. It’s the fault of the 33 states that have refused to set up their own exchanges. Nonsense. Where was the contingency planning? ....
...One thing is clear: Obamacare will fail if he doesn’t start paying more attention to the details of implementation, if he doesn’t start demanding action. And, in a larger sense, the notion of activist government will be in peril — despite the demographics flowing the Democrats’ way — if institutions like the VA and Obamacare don’t deliver the goods.
Once they get elected most Presidents stop campaigning and start managing the executive branch. This President has no Idea how to govern so he relies on what he can do...campaign...sell.

When it comes to Obamacare...this may be a good thing. Like an army of roaches, the issues with this oppressive program keep crawling out from under the baseboards, first one---then three, and pretty soon there is an infestation of incompetence and unforeseen side-effects which will show Obamacare to be a legislation with which we cannot live.

Polls continue to show the American people's distrust of this government controlled health system.  The only real question is does it collapse under its own weight, executive incompetence, or public "revolt."

And as Joe Klein put it, does activist government with its tentacles approaching every aspect of our lives and freedoms collapse with it?
