BREAKING: Big Mama Says Bye-Bye: DHS Secretary Resigns

Multiple news source are reporting that Janet Napolitano, who had been serving as the head of the Department of Homeland Security since the beginning of the Obama administration has submitted her resignation and will leave her office in two months.
“Since day one, Janet has led my administration’s effort to secure our borders, deploying a historic number of resources, while also taking steps to make our immigration system fairer and more consistent with our values,” President Obama said in statement. “And the American people are safer and more secure thanks to Janet’s leadership in protecting our homeland against terrorist attacks.”

Napolitano has been responsible for the lack of border security during the course of the past five years. Less than a year ago she was sued by the ICE Union for her stance in protecting aliens who have been caught being in the US illegally:
The agents claimed that Napolitano’s orders on “prosecutorial discretion” in essence tell them to break the law and disregard the Constitution. Because of the use of prosecutorial discretion, most illegal immigrants will not qualify as priority targets and agents must simply release them.
The lawsuit says that agents are being forced “to violate federal law … commands ICE officers to violate their oaths to uphold and support federal law. Unconstitutionally usurps and encroaches upon the legislative powers of Congress … violates the obligation of the executive branch to faithfully execute the law, as required by … the United States Constitution.”
More recently Napolitano released illegal aliens on to the streets to help the President punish America for the sequester.

Napolitano is  preparing to take over leadership of the 10-campus University of California system — the the state’s marquee public higher education network that has been plagued by budget cutbacks in recent years.
“I will be nominated as the next President of the University of California to play a role in educating our nation’s next generation of leaders,” Napolitano said. “I thank President Obama for the chance to serve our nation during this important chapter in our history, and I know the Department of Homeland Security will continue to perform its important duties with the honor and focus that the American public expects.”
While many people will celebrate Napolitano's departure remember--judging by the president's track record her replacement could be worse (I understand former Egyptian President Morsi may be looking for a Job)>
