Congresional "DREAM ACT" Hearings Today--Speaker Boehner Still Doesn't Get Concept of BORDERS FIRST!

Speaker of the House John Boehner either has a hearing problem or does not understand the simple concept of protecting the borders before anything else is done on immigration. Today The House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security will be holding a hearing on“Addressing the Immigration Status of Illegal Immigrants Brought to the United States as Children,." In other words the house is working on its own version of the now infamous DREAM act.

The House proposal, called the Kids Act, was submitted by two Virginia Republicans: Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte.

Do they really believe that Americans are that Stupid? "He let's change it from the dream act to the Kids act an no one will know."

At his press conference last Wednesday Cantor called the "DREAM Act" CONCEPT
“an issue of decency, of compassion.”
“Where else would these kids go? Again, they’ve been brought here as a minor in many instances having no idea what was going on, knowing no other place than America as home,”
Speaker John Boehner announced his support saying:
“This is about basic fairness. These children were brought here of no accord of their own. Frankly, they’re in a very difficult position and I think many of our members believe that this issue needs to be addressed,”
Sorry Mr. Speaker, this IS about fairness, but not the way you are thinking--What about being fair to MY Kid?  It's not fair that you are talking about legalizing millions of people who came into this country illegally without first  fixing our countries porous borders so my kids don't have to address the same problem over and over.  It's not fair that you are talking about legalizing millions of people, without first fixing our porous borders so my kids don't have to worry about a terrorist coming across the border and blowing them up.

That's "whats fair" Mr. Speaker, "that's decency and compassion " Leader Cantor.  It's not a matter of being pro or anti- Immigration, it's a matter of protecting my kids.  That is the first job of the federal government.
