Earlier this week on the The Factor Bill O’ Reilly ran a clip from a recent report highlighting “Jason the surfer,” a healthy, able-bodied young man who collects thousand of dollars of food stamps each year so he could go surf instead of getting a Job. O’ Reilly ripped into Jason (and those like him) for being a surf bum on the public dole instead of trying to get a job. He went on to criticize the administration for encouraging “parasites” like Jason to live off the taxpayer dollars.
On his show, “PoliticsNation” clip, Sharpton accused O’Reilly of “attacking the poor” and calling them “parasites,” ignoring the fact that the Fox host was only talking about able-bodied people who enjoy living off the public instead of working, like Jason.
Last night Reilly responded to the only Christian Reverend in the world who doesn't try and follow the 9th commandment;
“Sharpton obviously taking my comments totally out of context, not even mentioning Jason the surfer and basically not telling the truth, once again,” O’Reilly said. “He’s been portraying me as a racist and a ‘brutalizer’ of the poor.”O’Reilly then dropped what he accurately described as the “crusher” news about what a real schmuck Sharpton is:
“A few years ago, Sharpton told me that his charity in Harlem, N.Y., was out of money and that it could not provide Christmas presents and Christmas dinners to hundreds of poor people in Harlem. So I gave Sharpton a $25,000 donation to provide the gifts and the food.Well Bill if what Sharpton did in Crown Heights, Freddy's Fashion Mart, Tawana Brawley, the Central Park Jogger, the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman, or any other self-serving racial incitement case Sharpton has been involved in hasn't proved it--this may do the trick.
“I never mentioned it, because it wasn’t necessary to mention it. But now it is. To prove exactly what kind of person Al Sharpton is.”
