Stupid Media Bias Tricks-The DUCK YOU Edition

This was a strange week in the world of the media, we learned that a Network could hire a family named Robertson from the backwoods of Louisiana, then suspend its patriarch for acting like a guy from the backwoods of Louisiana. That's when Thomas Roberts decided to teach us theology---the wrong way.

This week President Obama introduced us to Pajama Boy and the cast of morning Joe couldn't stop laughing about it,  but we also learned that making fun of Pajama Boy is an indication of racism, misogyny, and homophobia

Since last Friday, CBS News got a 2016 head and started campaigning against potential GOP candidates,  Richard Trumka tried to unionize MSNBC, The American Studies Institute decided to boycott Israel, and Barack Obama was named the first gay president. This week ended with the President holding a press conference which Poltico's Glenn Thrush called boring.

Below are the stupid media bias tricks hinted at above plus many more from the last seven days. Headlines are linked to the full article (and will open a new window). When it is a broadcast story the video/audio will also be found at the end of the link.

So say Duck You to the mainstream media..click on the links and read about the stupid bias tricks of the last week:

Thomas Roberts' Catty 'Duck Dynasty' Comments on Morning Joe

Friday morning's Morning Joe program on MSNBC featured some nasty comments from MSNBC host Thomas Roberts about the controversial comments made by Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty and his resulting suspension by A&E.

The segment began with a discussion of Matt Lewis' column that compares the "Pajama Boy" and Duck Dynasty controversies to highlight a rural vs urban divide in the United States. Host Joe Scarborough threw the conversation over to Roberts asking what he thought of politicians such as Bobby Jindel and Sarah Palin who scolded A&E for suspending Robertson. Roberts response was to preach tolerance via intolerant, catty statements.
