Alan Grayson's Wife: He's Beat Me For Years

WFTV  Channel 9 in Alan Grayson's Orlando area district got a hold of the interview with police Mrs. Grayson had after a recent domestic incident, and if Grayson's wife is telling the truth, the Florida Congressman beats up a lot more than Republicans.

"I'm done. My husband has always been hitting me for years," she told investigators. "He's been hitting me a lot. I've been so quiet for years."

Lolita Grayson accused her husband of trying to kill her but said she stood by him until December when his cheating drove her to throw him out.

"I told him, 'Handsome, I know the fact that you have been cheating for more than a year, two years,'" she said. "He doesn't have any remorse. He's so happy."

Lolita Grayson told investigators her husband told her to stop talking about his mistress, saying, "'You're hurting me talking about my mistress. They are my mistresses and I'm proud of that.'"

She also talked politics and how she warned her husband against comparing the tea party to the Ku Klux Klan in an ad last year.

"I said, 'Handsome, don't do that. You're destroying your (unintelligible). You accuse them because they've, they've never done anything to you.,'" Lolita Grayson said.

Lolita calls her soon to be ex, husband Handsome, which admittedly casts doubt upon her judgement.

Lolita Grayson filed for divorce in January and told the detective what she wants from her self-made millionaire soon-to-be ex-husband.

"To pay everything until, until I die," she said.

Whether or not Lolita Grayson is telling the truth, Rep. Grayson's failure to act as a reasonable human being in his public dealings,  will make his private story work against him in his political career.
